First Doom mod I ever played and it will always be one of my favorites. I'm currently editing some of the files to make it run smoother and less jank on newer versions of GZDoom.

It involves adding a lot of +DONTTHRUST actor properties to just about every Decorate in the mod Through SLADE. Otherwise your weapons will cause trees and such to slide around the map.

I also added a Zoom function for the MA51 Assault Rifle. I tried to add a custom image of a scope overlay while zoomed in, but due to Psychophobia utilizing 3D assets for weapons and such, it's beyond my meager skill level.

Still, I suggest anyone looking to experience Psychophobia anew, to include the Actor properties fix and try and make it play with as many fun mods as you like!

I stick to immersion enhancing mods like DarkDoom and Immerse.

Pretty sure some people intend to improve the performance as you guys keep releasing new versions with performance updates as well.

And why they'd risk that? They've had enough of cancel culture dominating their respective gaming/fan groups. It's really a harmless way of making a stand.

Except for the harm that comes your way from the inclusion of the content you all originally added to the mod files in the first place. I already stated before in previous comments that have been deleted, that's solely your teams' responsibility.

That's great and all really, but are you holding any of your teammates accountable for being insulting to the people in the comments, like Jedi constantly was?

Obviously they get a pass. You do know that how your team members acts reflects on your team as a whole to a certain extent. Maybe keep them on a leash so they ain't foaming at the mouth from our comments, eh? =D

Any of you modders that still have the 3.0 version and plan on adding 3.1 graphical improvements and such to the original uncensored version, shoot me a PM if you need some playtesting or player feedback. If

they're gonna censor the comment sections now too, we need a place we can freely discuss changes and such.

She made a youtube video pointing out all these aspects of the mod, and gaslighted the criticism to the mainstream, after the initial shitshow on Doomworld forums.

She also de-listed said video when she realized she wasn't getting support for her views. Shame.

I understand to some extent that the content is somewhat dangerous for the people living in certain areas. But Torm was right from the start on the forums. He's not solely responsible for everything in the mod. There were plenty of checks and balances to go through before the final product saw the light of day.

Maybe that content was added by people not having to worry about those laws so it was a very unfortunate blunder that it was even included in the final product.

While that content certainly wouldn't offend any rational human, the hate brigade holds all the power online and offline. And if Torm and fellow modders are really in a legal bind or in the situation where they could be, then I understand them not wanting anyone to post the 3.0 version on their post.

That being said, I'm not gonna report any links for the original download anytime soon. I'm still fully in support of people fighting to keep the original content alive.

I understand that a lot of people really didn't have a choice. Like I said, had they been honest from the start and mentioned they are being forced to change things, they wouldn't have acquired so much flak.

The mage weapons don't scale properly with the new enemies making this more of a grind than it should be. I enabled sv_fastweapons 1 just to stand a chance against some of the enemies. While the puzzles and map design are unique as well as some of the monsters the difficulty stops me from wanting to continue this mapset/mod. Going to see if it runs with WoC.

You are not running it in opengl. Go to options and under the video selection you should see software showing up. Move it over once and it will say opengl. Restart Doom and you should be running in open gl.

Another hint that you may be in open gl are seeing a bunch of exclamation points where missing textures should be.

You need to use the right modifiers. That zip file has several different options to choose from. From a no reloads patch, to normal monster behavior, to normal gun animations and even a new pistol instead of the rifle.

Until the next version comes out, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a patch to include the different spells as a random chance pick-up replacement for the BFG in the Content Mod? Currently there is no way to acquire them without console commands, or codes.

Epic as always. I downloaded the alpha and only noticed a few errors. Only one of them is a game crasher. You can't die because if you try reloading the level it crashes. Same with loading a saved file. Also I was on IDE earlier and tried downloading using getwad to join on the public beta, but getwad couldn't find the first file epicsongs.

Anyone here know if Getwad has been screwing up lately? It does this for a lot of music wads that are required downloads to join certain servers.

Oh wow! I didn't know it was from an old version lol! Man I wish it would be brought back! Or even better, scrap the gray shotgun and go back to just the double barrel. It still fires like an individual round and has the same reload features, but I guess in the older version it is a bit too overpowered. It took down a Tormented soul with 6 shots.

First off: You're making a new episode! That just made my day. Secondly, which version has the black shotgun models instead of the gray one? I saw this version on youtube and the double barrel shotgun was greatly improved. Increased firing rate and reload speed actually makes this weapon now useful!

That would be a good thing on Episode 2. The one where you're in the giant ice cavern and he's way up there on that bridge. That damn thing killed me SO many times lol!

Oh and just a heads up for anyone, the CMpk that allows you to play with the monsters and weapons from this mod, will work on nearly every other custom mega wad. The only weapons that don't appear are the magic ones.
