have you copied the pak files from the Doom 3 base folder install over to dhewm 3 base install? For that many errors it sounds like something was skipped or put in the wrong directory.

You would need to compile the mod for linux. I believe a linux version of Dhewm 3 1.5.1 is up. As I can not compile it for linux myself, there is none available yet. Complete source code has been uploaded.

This helps. I wrote the gui for rivensin so it is easier to implant in it. Could you message me a link to the config so i may snoop. The other question is what other resolutions i need to add into the mods. Hc & rivensin the resolution differently . I have thought about porting the rivensin menu & changing the images because it is more simple

I have not tested at that high of a resolution. This is the first time i'm hearing of this. Do you have this issue running just dhewm 3 or the mod?

+modified Ruinbow Textures: removed gothic designs, removed blue ember fx when in explosive arrows are equipped.

Awesome to this coming back! The textures for some enemies such as the mancubus, pinky & commando were updated in Rivensin... feel free to port them over. Resolution & detail were increased. Pretty sure they are all listed in the change log for it. There is also a large collection of vanilla doom 3 props in it converted to moveable for the grabber. Vending machines, toilets and even the kitchen sink.
Been thinking of going to S-Mart and seeing if the Deadite slayer is available.

Contra SS a big inspiration for the original mod. Back then 2.5d games were rare. The original name was derived from that with a Q thrown in it since it was a Quake 4 mod.
That is the main issue. I could improve the weights a bit to stiffen them, but the proportions will still be off. Unless your fiddling with the camera a lot, you shouldn’t notice it much in game.
Still need to pack them all up. The current versions of dhewm3 on the official site should be compatible with Rivensin 0.9.81 builds
Sorry for the late reply... just noticed this comment. Your best bet is to pull the model assets from hardqore 2 & then add in the updated textures from the Rivensin version. This is because the head model is apart of the same mesh for the body unlike doom3’s player model. This was done due to the full body animation systems in Rivensin.
no due to the amount of changes of changes in the player's script, def and animations. The model could easily be ported if needed.

Non bfg/vanilla found on steam. It requires the base asset paks from doom 3 in order to run the source port.
For hardqore; it’s still up in the air. For Ruiner going to Rivensin had more do with confusion from a game released after the mod came out.
Looks like we have a fix. Plan to deploy the hotfix this weekend. This will also fix a couple more minor issues with Lost Souls & Dead Souls.
I can confirm this possible. For me the game goes slow mo for a bit and then fires back up to normal. Defiantly related to the regular arrows. Not sure if this occurs in other maps. Looking into a hotfix.
Also does occur with regular arrows or the explosive?
Thanks for the feedback. We had thought game crashing insertion issues were solved prior to the first dhewm3 release. I will try to replicate it as I have not had them. Is this a clean install for 0.9.80? And have you tried deleting any savegame date prior to install in your mydocuments/mygames/dhewm3 folder?
if you figure out how to compile linux after the patch, please let me know. Would like to get linux binary out there for all
Thirdperson only. Support for first has had many parts stripped out to free up memory.
First I’ve heard of a start up crash. Which version? 32-bit or 64-bit? System specs? And is there anything besides the default doom3 pak files in your Dhewm3/base folder? Any error messages pop up or info in the console?
