Yeah I can agree, don't get what's it all about with Ashoka that people want her everywhere nowadays. Seems it's mostly the fans that grew up with the animated show and seem to be more emotionally affected by it and thus like some of its characters more than other people. But since it's a character prominently and first appearing in a motion picture story, more people know her, that can also potentially like her, especially combined with the reasons above.
I get there are some nice mommentd with her in the show, but she seems to be quite overhyped nowadays, especially since REBELS. But she was mostly created for the TCW show as plot device to make Anakin look more likeable and mature, but she also distracted from him, which isn't that great imo. It's sometimes nice to have one more main character, but not when that character doesn't serve a real purpose from the beginning or takes away time that could have been spent on the actuals protagonist's development or using the time to show more interesting aspects and elements to the story and world. But People see to not mind or think different about it.
George Lucas himself had planned to kill her off at the end of the Clone Wars, but only due to Feloni, since it's his favorite, out of a sudden she appeared in that Disney kids show REBELS, and thus the story for season 7 of the clone wars later was cut shorter and rewritten, so it fits with the new Disney canon.

This mod seems supposedly to be Legends focused, where Ashoka doesn't even exists (at least post Endor), since nothing it mentions or shows is Disney canon exclusive but instead has bits that are Legends only. There are actual other strong EU/Legends female characters more fit for this era as already mentioned.

I like that this mod is about post endor since there's only few mods about that time.

And yes, Kota is blind a that time, if he's still alive at all which I doubt, since unlike many other Jedi that were still alive, who gave up their status or title as Jedi or went into exile and lived in total isolation, he was with the Rebel Alliance after he had been broken once and returned with new motivation. At that time he was unwavering and would have only stopped fighting by being killed, which he might have been.

If he's in the mod he should have the proper model, which exists and can be accessed. Btw it isn't a complaint, but a suggestion.
And the remnant support could use the model of one of the other troops with slight changes instead that new canon troop model, but that's a detail I wouldn't really mind as long the mod doesn't start to use more and more Disney canon designs and content, when there's plenty from Legends/EU for an apparently EU/Legends themed mod to use.

Other than that this mod can be really appreciated so far, again it's great that it's post RotJ and uses also somewhat 'lesser' known Legends elements of that time.

Purge Troopers, as far as I know they are a Dark Trooper variant in Legends, equipped with a shoulder mounted missile with three tubes and a vibro weapon. An they were droids.

after the Republic was reorganized into the Empire, the military was also partly restructered and a part of the special forces brigade of the GAR was incorporated into the 501st by Vader, which included all Republic Clone Commandos, who were renamed to "Imperial Clone Commando".

For the next thousand years at least there will be enough canon stuff, by various modders. Hope people like the mode creator here will stick to Legends, because the more canon puts out the more Legends is forgotten or the less likely it is people new to the lore outside the movies will invest in Legends, since they'll feel the new stuff is more relevant, which is a shame.
Luckily, even though they don't get everything right in their videos or miss parts, they're at least some of those bigger YouTubers, who let a good amount of fans know about Legends and the great and more detailed, thought out and indepth content of it, so Legends will still be remembered for at least some time by people and appreciated, and you will see some fanmade stuff at least still. I remember when legends got a bad reputation by the disney canon purists after it was the EU was decaonized, but it reputation seems to grow again to the point that you see a lot of unbiased newer fans prefer it over new canon, despite the fact that it now easier tobe inforemd about Legends than canon.

lol, it's the Pelargir Marine armor, from cancelled Lord of the Rings "The Veiled Stars", have to admit it's one of the better fitting armors but it never became OSP, and one of the creators even said, he didn't give permission to use his armors.
It's an "unofficial" armor in an "unofficial submod".

Can you just stop. How can the guy be fake, when he is posting images of models he create himself from time to time.
You can also join the discord server and ask the testers or the other devs. He is known by some of the most prominent M&B modders out there, who also had contact with him in the TaleWorlds Modding server on Discord, he also provided the Bear Force mod Team with assets. And there is a released version of the mod for Vanilla M&B also released by the him wit the same assets created by him. Please don't judge a person or anything else when you can't prove anything, don't know anything about him/her/it or your arguments are just unsufficient. There is enough prove against your claim and thought.
You make yourself sound like an impatient kid that way.

Free Radical's BFIII had characters from the EU, afterall its story was set in the EU timeline. Asajj Ventress, Kol Serra, Rahm Kota, Night sisters, Durge etc. were all chracters from EU stroires and were supposed to be in the game and the models even were made.
What Galaxy in Turmoil did was enhancing graphics in general, like polishing the existing models further and improving fx and other graphical effects, fixing bugs of the unfinished game and finishing uncomplete parts of the code.
SO it would be a solid game in the end and still decent in the very least for the when the Frontwire studio would have released it.

Do you use WSE for your mod? Or any other special script file or Launcher? A few things such in pic99, where a short video or gif plays on an ingame screen scen prop don't seem possible with the default WB operations and triggers. Though it might be that you are just much more creative then most other modders and me.

Thanks for your response. from what I know improved accuracy for bots is possible by using the SetAIDifficulty Callback function and change its parameters for each team, so the bots of a side can fire very accurate but additionally make them react a bit quicker and aggressive.
And maybe you could ask Fox, if it's possible for him to only let Republic and Mandalorians use AI improvement scripts.

The decreased health of low tier droids at least and higher reinforcement counts help, but better AI for Republic Troops would be of course even better, because then sides would feel even more different from each other that way.
Currently commando bots of Rep side are just bit better with their higher health, but have still hard time against relativley high number of CIS special units that often have more health and deal more damage than commandos, and in a one against one fight against a droideka or SBD, you don't feel a difference between the commando and droids aside from theri different design.
And the regular clones are just cannon fodder just like the lowest tier droids, which also should be changed.
Somemthing that lets the player give the feel of fighting in a group of units that fight more tactical and at least surive more than one vave of enemies that is few times as high as the number of REP units on the field a the same time. So that it would be still difficult for the player to fight despite being on the side with better AI units, since the player can be hit from a lot more positons, than if he plays with the CIS side.

I like the mod a lot, if this mod had improved AI for Republic Troops (and Mandos for CIS), and let the player give the feeling of smart quality units vs cheap robotic ones, this would be without question my favorite one and also for many others and would be hard to top.

And could you or someone else change the reinforcment bleeding rate, when one team has less command posts than the other team.
I know that it can be changed like AI accuracy for each team with a lua callback function.
It's always annoying that one team looses reinforcments automatically so quickly, just becuase it has less CPs.
The side with more CPs has afterall the tactical advantage that they can attack from more locations, surround or flank the other team easier.
And it doesn't matter if you're lossing or winnig. becuase it either feels too esay to win that way or the player is the last one standing and can win by figthing har and carefully enough aginast a horde of enemies on the field, but looses a the end because the reiforcemtns count decreases to zero even without the player dying or loosing all CPs.

nah, mandalorians were originally introduced by Legends and all the lore and hisory about them is from Legends.
And TCW was also part of Lengends once.
It's also funny how you say that, despite having te image of a Lengends character as profile icon and use Legend troops such as Neo Crusaders in your mod, but say that.
Lengends all the way, Lengends mandalorian are original Mandalorians and the best, unlike the crappy ones in canon.
TCW's death watch mandalorinas were somewhat effective, but those in Rebels and everything else in canon are just a disgrace to Mandalorians so far.

Also regular B1 droids could be like the regular clones, only be AI controled and not for the player, but amounts of droids would be much higher, since they are cheap mass produces units.
And regular clones should only be on certain maps as third team like Wookies are on Kashyyk for the Republic in vanilla BF2.

There should like 4-8 (1-2 Squads) Commandos on each map. For very big maps up to 12 (3 Squads). If regaulr clones are also in the battle, there should be thrice as muchas commandos. All Republic Units with enhanced AI.

CIS should have five times the amount of units of the Republic Side,
but the ratio between elites/regulars should be lower.

And the only units that use the same AI as Clones for the Separatists should Mandalorians.

Is it possible for you to make the Commandos less numerous in numbers on the field, but make their AI much more effective compared to the Separatists side AI (except for Mandalorian Units), so that they fight and act more tactical and better, which keeps them alive much longer, but in turn increase the amount of Separatist bots in battles and make the lower tier droids a bit weaker? Or ask someone who has experience with AI code to do that part for you.
That way it would feel even more like a battle between High quality Clone Special forces units and cheaper mass produced droids.

I mean even regular clones were almost at the level of most of the "average" elite units in the galaxy, Clone Commados were even better fighters, but where less speiclized in Infantry tactics, but more Commando Units, unlike Alpha ARCs who were eqaully good in both and superior than any other CLone unit in most areas.

And one regualar b1 droid couldn't even take out one normal human soldier.
It would even took more than one b2 superbattle droid to defeat one regualr clone trooper.
I know in the Republic Commando game they can be fairly powerful, but that's mostly for gameplay purpose and not really lore accurate.
Even in TCW, were clones are a bit weaker depicted compared to the old Legend clones, you see regualr clones defeating multiple B2 SBDs.
Only advanced Droids such as Magna Guards and Droidekas or Mercenaries such as Mandalorian Super Commandosw, would cause major problems to regulars, not even counting the Special forces Units.
Afterall they are trained intensively from birth and cloned from the best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy.
I have only seen very few mods were clones fight a bit better than separatist units, such as in ATQ Outriders mods.

For example they could shoot much more precise and be more aggressive against smaller groups of enemies which they could take out easier or if the yhave to reach a certain destination quickly.
And against more units nearby they would be more careful and mostly fire from cover or spread out and shoot a the flanks of enemy fromation. And the y would move more while shooting, so tha its harder for the enemies to hit them, and the clones would head to Helth droids, if one is nearby and they have the time or are badly injured and don't igbore nearby bacta tanks on the ground.
Or the Clone AI would heal over tiem slowly, unlike the player or droids.

I don't know far Battlefront 2 can be modded, since I don't mod it,
But I have soem experience modding another game, that needs often workarounds to alter the ingame effects of harcoded stuff,
where a lot is actually possible.

He means a mod, in which the Death Watch is separated from the True Mandalorinan faction, who folowed Jaster Mereels Super Commando Codex.
Like it was in Legends, where the Death Watch was a separate Facton from the True Mandalorians who (unlike TCW) remained warior people afer the Mandalorian Civil War.

Will you add A-17 "Alpha" as a hero, afterall he fought in the battle of Kamino, (even though in the old Legends version of the battle of Kamino and not in the TCW version) and he would perfectly fit, as he was an ALpha ARC who were the best speical forces units in the Republic, superior to all other clone units and there were only 100.

I think you can, disable gondor extra reinforcments from a dev menu, when you launch the game in cheat mode.

I understand you, I also dislike it when the challenge is taken out, but at the same ,time I also don't lik it how the player is generally always the big hero of the campaign and the factions all retards who can't do anything by themselves, especially in a lore driven mod like TLD, where the player character doesn't exist in lore and isn't a hero who is capable if saving an entire faction by himself.

It's hard to find compromisses, I thin the TLD team should have done the balanncing in a different way, so that they don't give Gondor and rohan more troops, but instead, made their troops level up a bit faster, while evil folks get reinforced quicker, and put some randomization factors to it, so that it's not very predictable for the player who will be better at the end. That way it isn't safe that evil factions are underpowered, but the player isn't the stranger, who defeats everyone with minimal support of ally factions.

And the devs could add more quests that affect, faction strength or outcomes in the campaign rather indirectly, so that player has his role, but like an agent of his faction and not the big hero of middleearth.

As someone who can mod himself, I sy it would be all possible to devs, it would be only the community that probably could react negative to such changes.

As Starwarsfan8 already said in the last comment section of the previous image, it would be indeed better to prioritize Legends content for this mod.
The game itself would have followed Legends lore, since it was being developed in 2008. It referenced or even included Legends characters and other content, such as Rahm Kota or Kol Serra, Vader's castel, Bast, on the planet Vjun etc.
And why putting sequel trilogy content instead of Legends content, when the models for the imperial remnant and new republic troops from legends were already created by Free Radical for BFIII and the modders have acces to them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the mod is bad, it's fantastic and I really appreciate the work of the mod makers, all the mapmaking and putting together the assets, the rigging, extra effects, coding, fixing and whatnot.
Some small additions that weren't set in the same timeline and didn't follow the lore are OK and fun.
And it definetely still feels like a mod that attempts to recrate the old cancelled SWBFIII as a mod for battlefront2.
But if they carry it too far with all these kind of additions, it will distract too much from the core idea of this mod an the game original game and become more a side mod of its own that uses assets from the cancelled SWBFIII. In that case it would be still a good mod nonetheless, but the name of the mod wouldn't fit that much anymore and it will differ from what the mod originally stood for.

At the same time it's not fitting for a lotr mod for example to have Sauron make peace with one of the realms of the free people. That's what I like about TLD, that it tries to follow lore as much as possible
