To reply to the below users comment, these things were all looked at, and hopefully planned for release. However, since the state of the mod is debatable as of yet, i would not like to promise anybody anything at this time.

I have had major issues with the team and support, but me and a mapper may continue on with this project. i cannot guarantee anything, but i may try and revitalise this soon. We need dire help in the coding department, and our last coder was of no use to us and did not send ANYTHING in on time.

Anyway, enough rant, ill try and get some things sorted.

Awesome, atmospheric RPGFPS that has all the thrills required, definitie thumbs up. Just mind the glitches of doom!

That bots are currently using our forums to advertise for their sites/blogs. This will not be tolerated and is a unecessary waste of our time.

In better news, our mappers have been making good progress on not only the Icarus base, but also the new combine headquarters in the coast region.

Expect more media soon!

We have a new mapper, thejethro, who will be helping us in our mapping work. We also could possibly have a coder, i have accepted him i am just awaiting a reply!

Just to say thanks for the comments, its nice to see our mod already attracting people who will watch it with interest!

Yes, we will keep it within the hl2 universe, as that is the whole point of this half life 2 modification, although expect to see some interesting additions. We will reveal more about this when we actually get around to doing work on them.

Imagina, if you can provide me with examples of any coding you have done to prove you can code, there may be a position for you. We need all the help we can get at the moment, as to be honest i am struggling with the pure c++ side of modifying hl2 to our needs.

And to everyone else, the best thing you can do now is spread the word and get signed up to the forums!. It is interested people like yourselves who keep mod projects going, and rest assured we will have a release of some kind as ready as quick as we can.

For the first alpha release, we expect obviously that many features will not be included. It will really just be for testing purposes, but we believe that the community will have more fun actually seeing the objects ingame.

You can only have so much fun with screenshots!

Enough said, i believe this will be the best mod for freelancer yet to be released. I will myself sign up to the forums. And for your information they have videos on their site if you are still not convinced.

I think it would be greta to stick with the current theme and instead implement a proper co-op, some more maps or even a short singkle player campaing of several maps.

This is a great mod, and deserves to be complimented.
The Deuce version was fun and hard BUT very laggy.
even on a pc that has a 3ghz processor and a Ati Radeon 9800 second editon, with 256mb of memory, my pc still pretty much died on the high quality version. However, on low i experiance only a slight drop in frame rate.

The mod looks like it was professionally done with the voice acting and everything, and some peopl should take a leaf from this mods book when they come to release their HL" mod or any mod fr that matter.

I hate to say it but this mod sucks. Basicalloy the story is terrible and completley puts a spanner in the works for half life 2's story...

Be imaginitive...change it to something you can make up yourself....because this is horrendous

I heard about the other doom3 hell on earth mod. Guess which one i will be downloading? And since yours has a crap story, it isnt gonna be yours. Your mod does look class, but the story is THE most terrible story ever concieved. I could make better sitting on the toilet in 20mins. :<
