I think moddb should have a section where media can be recycled and downloaded (as to the owner's consent). It doesnt nessesarly have to be totally open either, the owner of the material can decide who gets it (people can submit a request for a certain media element), or mod leaders can download the element, or registered users can download. That way, thoes perdy models dont go to waste. :D

It HAS to be something that can kill you. FEAR had a few momments that were pretty good but no monsters sprinting towards you to kill you. Like being surrounded by zombies all of the sudden. The fear of getting hurt works really well I think. Espically when it's something creepy like spiders or headcrabs etc.

The actual map looks good (but needs proper lighting, MAKE IT NIGHT!), but the revolver isnt even half as good as the Half Life 2 one, not to put you down, but why cant you use the origional for just the revolver?

if they do end up releasing it on steam as a "standalone" (using that term lightly as it will most likely still require a steam account) my guess it'll only cost 10-20 dollars, or less because it'd cost me 10 bucks for DOD: Source + Half Life: Source

You need to type into the console sv_lan 0 after you start a server... OR we need a dedicated server released.

Theres lots of other teams out there making zombie games.. so why not join them? (hehe join them >:>) then we'd actually see one awesome mod, not ten billion mods that are as dead as the zombies within them.

I can host a listen server with 8 people and have no lag... it's awesome. 580 kb/s down and 80 kb/s up DSL internet speeds speeds and the average ping is 80.

Instead of making two billion seperate mods on the same topic why the heck cant you guys just join another one? like camon, such a waste... You could cut the time in half for the mod by adding your team to theirs... Or Vica-Versa... I dunno ask em...
