Sounds like your antivirus was wreaking havoc and deleted the executable and some dlls files? You might want to add the game folder to the exceptions list (to exclude from scanning etc.).

Overall decent mod, adds a lot of much needed definition to characters.
I do find the colours of props (barrels, huts etc.) too washed out for my liking.
Found a couple of problems during the campaign. One missed texture and bad transition between textures. I'm going to post the screenshots here, hopefully these will get fixed in the next version.
I had a single crash when the game ran out of memory, otherwise all okay.
1) The Frozen Throne; The Sentinels Campaign; Chapter 7 The Ruins of Dalaran
just North of the base there is a large fissure which hasn't been changed and stands out like a sore thumb:

2) The Frozen Throne; Alliance Campaign; Chapter 1 Misconceptions
top left hidden cache (required for the optional objective) with the two golems guarding it has a very bad transition between grass and cliff:

Using v1.6.1 UT99 looks gorgeous, however I'm getting a lot of stuttering just by moving around the map.
Things I tried:
- reinstalling the game and reverting back to standard textures without mods
- setting everything to false for the DX11 renderer in the UT.ini file
- adjusting precaching and cache size
- applying the 4GB memory patch
My video card has 3GB of RAM and is DX12 compatible so I don't think that's the culprit. Game is GOG version (436).
Help please.
Thanks this helped, I was unable to change resolution from 640x480.
(native resolution on my monitor is 1920x1200)
Best mod for Doom 2, makes weapons sound and feel punchy. Wouldn't play without it.
To pick up items press (and hold) the E button, you don't have to look down etc. easy to get used to and you won't be grabbing stuff you don't need just yet. Handy on higher difficulties when you want to conserve pickups for later.
Started playing this mod a couple of days ago and it's taken me completely by surprise.
There is a lot of gameplay here, with many unique areas, quests and NPCs. Seeing the human outpost, troll mine and rebel's camp from Arx Fatalis was fantastic.
Writing is quite decent and lore-friendly, with some memorable jokes and dialogues. It has a really good atmosphere and has an Arx Fatalis vibe to it that I was craving for.
You could actually sell this game as an indie RPG with a bit more polish - it's that good.
Incredible job, guys. Thank you for making this mod.
This is definitely one of the better mods. Enjoyable firefights and good map design. Unfortunately I'm stuck on the second map. Found one of the four batteries and dropped it into its slot but can't find to other three, even though I spent quite some time exploring the level over and over again.
Yes, gameplay is great. Can't wait for the first patch to fix some issues but until then, I'm having a lot more fun with this than I had with Killing Floor.
P.S.: Download is on Steam but only if you own Killing Floor (as it's a mod to that game) and as for ammo boxes, Mechanics are able to build those.
