Is it just me or does this version run a lot smoother and is less unstable?

Thanks for the reply. So far, the driver timeout hasn't happened with anything else, just Anomaly. My suspicions were the FPS meter and Directx10 version since that version of the game is said to be unstable. My temps remained around 40s-70s and there is no corruption or faulty hardware cause I did checks/repairs already to confirm that. I think AMD drivers (or certain software versions) can be very finnicky sometimes since I never experienced any sort of issues with Intel or Nvidia hardware/software.

Anyone have AMD (or if you have Nividia) driver time outs? A day before the 16th, I had no issues running the game (besides the launcher not working and I could only launch the game through one of the exes) for a bit but at some point the day after, I was near the tunnel with the fauna hanging type anomalies in the beginning area and my screen turned black then I got a AMD message popup saying that the driver had timeout and crashed. Funny thing is, I looked in reliability history to understand the problem and I also got a hardware/blue screen error "LiveKernalEvent-LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_amdkmdag.sys" with the AMD error summery despite my computer not crashing and remaining stable after exiting the game through task manager. My computer is above the specs for this game and I'm running the latest Graphics driver so I don't really know why it crashed cause before, it never did this especially since I was playing for about an hour or so before the 16th. For refence sake in terms of the EXES, I used the Enhanced DirectX 10 version. I wonder if messing with the FPS meter caused this to happen since I put it above 140 FPS.

Something tells me your trolling, to which I hope you are. Now, I respect your views and opinions as a centrist, however, I think this map looks like absolute dogshit packed with meaningless propaganda that should be left outside of the doom and gaming community. I also doubt John Romero would have said this is the best mod ever which is a joke and the source is plausibly a fake account you or someone made to troll people.

It wouldn't be too hard to do though. However, it would take a team of people willing to work on it without what happened to Opposing Force 2 alongside the drama that came with it. Personally, I wouldn't mind writing the story for They Hunger 2.

After watching gameplay videos of the released mod called Hunt Down The Freeman, This mod is 100% better than that piece of **** mod. Some may argue this mod isn't all that good either, but at least it tries to stay true the half-life vibe and doesn't require money to played.

I can understand people's concern with the mod not meeting required expectations but remember creating video games and even a mod that is a continuation to an expansion for Half-Life 1 isn't as easy as you think it is. Developing a mod or even a game takes lots of time and can be taxing and very pressuring, especially if its one guy or a small team of people working on it.

I never made a mod or game, but I can understand the developers' point of view. However, I think the developer should at least put in an effort for what they're making and not half-*** it like most modern game/mod devs do while lying about features in the game.

My only concern for the game is how it plays and tells the story as it progresses. I want the story to connect with the first game and even introduce characters like Half-Life 2 did e.g characters such as Barney, Kleiner, Mossman, Alex, Eli, etc. I also want the NPC's to be unique with looks, animations, and A.I not copies from HL2 and it's episodes. For example, Phoneix Soldiers should have the same classes like the H.E.C.U Marines from Opposing force 1 like the medic, engineer, shotgunner, captain, heavy, and sniper. Back to the characters, as I said before putting in interesting characters. My idea would be someone like Jackson the engineer or someone from the HECU, Bootcamp, or black mesa that know Shepard from the first game who survived the incident and 7-hour war.

I'm not trying to sound demanding, but I also like to see this mod succeed at what it was created for. Also, If you need someone to write stories PM me.

If your team decides to continue this modification and addon to it, can you add characters from the first game? For example, the drill instructors (Dwight T. Barnes and Sharpe) and some of Adrain Shepard's
teammates and other soldiers that survived Black Mesa, e.g Jackson.

They could be part of the Phoenix-rebel soldiers that Adrian Shepard bumps into in one of the levels as a reunion. Also, could you add in classes for the Phoenix soldiers just like the grunts from the first game? E.G medics, and engineers. But overall great mod and I hope to see more of your content for the game.
