Thanks for the info.
OK. Found the issue. You'll have to forgive me, have not used Gzdoom for a while, but it appears that it no longer uses the root folder for the ini file, but rather places the ini in Documents/My Games. Have no idea when this happened, but it has messed up some of my other Doom stuff. I had to delete the ini file in the My Games folder to get this working so what I have done is add "-config .\autoexec.cfg" to your bat file so that it has it's own config file, also had to do to get my other doom stuff working, great stuff GZDoom devs, what a dumb idea.
Followed the instructions to the letter and still won't work. If I use your Bat file to load, I get script errors, if I run gzdoom.exe, it doesn't give me a choice, just loads standard Doom. I can't find any possible solution to get this working.
Yeah, that's great, except once again there are no step by step instructions on how to get this working, and I have tried every combination of files I can think of to get this to work and I just get script errors, or errors due to duplicate files or it just loads into vanilla doom. Can you please provide some form of specific instructions on which files go where.
I set memory to max, played for about 40 minutes without crash... Great work, thanks.
Still no go for me, it gets in game no problem, but after a few minutes the game randomly crashes with no specified error. Have ran with default DGVoodoo setings, also tried playing with settings with no fix. I'm curious, do you own an AMD or NVidia card? Just to rule out it being an Nvidia specific issue.
Reshade still not working with DGVoodoo for me. I have tried every combination of files, settings I possibly can, including the guide on the Apple of Eden website and Reshade doesn't load, it isn't even detected, so if you have it working like you say, could you please give us some info on how you achieved that.
This works so much better than models after watching your video... I struggled to tell the difference at first glance, it just looks like Doom sprites until you start moving around them, and I love that the way they move is unchanged... Fantastic work.
This was fixed in the first official patch.
Awesome... Im praying this game gets lots of attention on the modding scene, it deserves more attention... This is a great addition.
New Version up. Feel free to request any one of the changes separate from the rest, like just the spiders, or just the removal of traps etc.
He sounds like he's jerking off every time he gets hit... Great mod though.
All fixed on my end, glad you left the original lines in. Thanks for the work your doing on this, really is awesome.
Thats right molecicco... And on the level after it got even worse.
Latest version seems to be broken, I'm on Outcast levels, and a lot of the enemies are walking on the spot without attacking.
Amazing work... Just a pointer, not sure if you know, but you can use the "notarget" command to make enemies ignore you completely, would make it easier to get a closer look in game.
Thanks a lot kipo50 for your help, will do that now :)
Back To Saturn X Episode 2, first map. Also occurs on some textures on Episode 1, and a couple of other Megawads in my collection. But this doesn't occur with Brutal Doom, Wardust Star Wars mod, Alien Trilogy mod etc... Have played through these Megawads many times on various TC's and only occurs with Dn3Doom, very strange.
Hi kipo50. Sorry to bother you, but I have a strange issue with some colours appearing white on some textures and skies in certain Megawads. I have been through the files and tried to locate the issue myself, but no luck... Would you have any idea how I could fix this?
That's good to know. I have two of them spawning in a narrow corridor, at this point I don't have the shrinker, they kill me instantly. I'm playing the Vile Flesh wad, one of my favourites, I usually kill the Baron's no probs, but the Overlords, no way. I don't like cheating, but I will try spawning the Shrinker. Amazing mod anyway, this is my only issue, aside from that it's perfect.
Great job, really... Unfortunately, replacing Baron of Hell's with Overlords has left most wads impossible to progress... It's near impossible to survive against one in a small room, but 3 or 4, no way... You might as well replace them with Cyberdemon's.
Hey... Didn't see any posts for some time, I was concerned... Hope your feeling better man. And great to see an update :)
Hi. Could you tell me if this will work on Fortunes Edition? Reason I ask, is that's the only version available on Steam. Thank you in advance.
This is in need of serious re-balancing. You get destroyed by machine gun fire in a matter of a couple of seconds, and that's just from one enemy, when there's more than one you've had it. Enemies need a major drop in their rate of fire for this to be playable... Especially on later levels. Apart from that it's awesome.
Amazing, what your doing here... Hope you can see this project all the way through, if you do this will be the only texture replacement anyone will ever need, really really awesome :)
You are amazing Hoover1979, with everything your having to deal with in your life, your dedication to this project is inspiring to say the least. Thank you so much for continued effort, wishing you good health.
Getting almost constant stutter from both... I have lots of other Doom mods, even one using Hoover's ultra high resolution textures that run smooth. I have tried lowering resolution, switching various things, but nothing makes any difference to the stuttering. I have a PC that can max out GTA 5 on 4k, so my PC is certainly up to the job, I was hoping you might be able to give some hints for a possible solution? Anyway, apart from that this is awesome, love these mods :)

Im a freindly guy, quite creative, I like to play guitar, watch movies and play games but when im not doing that I like to play around with GTK Radiant and do a bit of mapping or modding for Doom 3.
