Will further work be done to polish up the Grey Knights models for the Grey Knights branch for Daemonhunters?

A few of them look a little rough around the edges, and I'd even say some look rather ugly. In particular, I noticed that a gloss effect was added to the Grey Knights to make them appear shinier, however, when you rotate the model the reflection isn't consistent, which draws attention to the low amounts of polygons the models have. Also, some parts of the models have gloss that make no sense, such as the loin cloths.

There's a distracting disparity in quality between the Grey Knights Chapter models, and the IDH grey knights models (which are stunningly gorgeous).

Well the Superiors, Missionaries, and Confessor are the only ****** looking models. And if we have to deal with having them, then I could deal. Everything else looks gorgeous, though. Props to the original creators.

Kind of sad that the modding community did a better job than the actual studio.

I installed this mod, but I still had this dialogue in the cockpit.

I know the mod is working because there were loads of other sequences that played out correctly...

My chief complaint about this add-on is that the master dies at the end, which really made the entire thing feel like a waste of time. Then the padawan gets killed by a Contrivance droid. Another complaint would be that the maps are way too large, especially considering the amount of fetch-quests that take place. I'm not too ****** about it though, the escort droids provide decent fast-travel.

The only thing in the entire add-on that affects other worlds is the fuel you can have sent to Telos. If you want a few extra quests and XP, go for it, but in my honest opinion it adds little. And what is added feels hollow.

Will the sisters still be using the HD models from the defunct Witchhunter mod?

How do I uninstall the mod? Just delete the Modern Combat file in the directory?

So, will the mod have a few of the features of it's successors integrated somehow? Like, maybe we can actually detach scopes and silencers now? (At least, I found myself unable to do that in Shadow of Chernobyl.) Perhaps a weapon upgrade system?

Meloo is doing work on the Eldar. Mainly, the Eldar that wear armor that is usually in shades of black. Kind of odd, really. Black armor? All the time? One might think these particular Eldar were Dark or something.

Purgation of Kaurava is a "splinter mod", so to speak. It was made by a former member of the FoK community, but with a different goal in mind.

Firestorm is very similar to the Codex, but makes a few appropriate deviations to keep it balanced (let's face it, they can't translate units from a Turn-based game into an RTS stat for stat). Purgation plans on sticking as close to the codices as possible.

In my personal opinion, I'll stick to FoK. Purgation tries too hard to focus on the combat of the game, and leaves out economy elements of RTS games (Free buildings? All buildings available first tier? Listening post upgrades provide no Req bonus?). It's up to you on which you'd prefer, but you should absolutely give FoK a shot (though from what I've seen, you won't see too much difference.)

If it's testers that you need, I'll happily take part...

Problem is, I can't get on the forum. It won't send the activation e-mail to hotmail, and I can't retrieve my password for a previous account (for some reason).

Wait, so does this mean Imperial Guard will no longer get to use Inquisition units?

I really hope this mod isn't dead. It's such a great mod, and I really want to see it completed.
