An AI mod, bugfix mod, and combined race mod all in one -- Unification does everything it promises very well. Many of the bonus features are also incredibly interesting and useful.

What made me come back, though, and give this a 9 was the ability to switch factions mid-game. This is an incredibly useful feature for when your AI allies are making asinine building decisions and getting their units stuck. Just take the proverbial wheel, delete a building here, build it in a better spot, and the AI will use it properly.

However, I am subtracting one point for the following reason. I think the buttons for the aforementioned feature are poorly placed. Way too far off the edge of the screen. If it is at all possible to put them in a better, more discrete location, it would be perfect.
