If you want your rat mount stronger, download ItemEditor and change the mount's hitpoints, charge attack and armor to your heart's content.

Take the Crushers and Champions for instance, their arms and hands don't match very well. Even the helmets are submerged under the torso.

That happened to me once.

I know that for the trolls and Mumakils, the hit detection boxes don't really correspond to the entire models so it is kind of tricky to hit them.

For trolls, aim your arrows near their heads.

For Mumakils, you have to hit them somewhere around their legs in order to kill them.

Goblins and Orcs are short so you kind of have to shift your aiming when hitting them. I know for a fact that the game will pretty much crash immediately if you can't damage them at all.

These are Su-33 posing as Su-37. You can tell by the shape of the tail boom. Nevertheless this looks like it's going to be a sick looking mod once completed.

In Fantasy, High Elves melee infantry are always armed with spears. Although they do have swords as sidearms, they can't actually use the swords in combat because the rules dictate that they must use their spears for the fight. They do not have dedicated swordsmen except for the 2 handed wielders Swordsmasters of Hoeth.

On the other hand, Dark Elves have swordsmen detachments called Dreadswords, which are an alternative to Dreadspears (spearmen equivalent) and Dreadshards (repeater crossbowmen)

You can always change High Elves armor stats to be on par with the dark elves, which will improve the High Elves overall defense.

Open up the simple_triggers.txt, look for the number 384 a little way down the page (it is the first number in the line) and change it to the number 24 and save as seen here Forums.taleworlds.com

Doing so will actually unfrozen the diplomatic flow of the game.

They will only ask for your email when you fill out the request iirc.

You'll just have to ask around. Eventually one will stick out and offer you the job. Although with about 200 renown or so, there is a fair chance they will ask you for a merc contract anyway.

It will be hard but once you have found the joy of painting them, the perception of difficulty will simply vanish.

These look quite impressive. A painting job done proper.

As for me, since I'm waaaay too lazy to do any wash or highlights on my models, I tend to use metallic paint schemes to avoid doing such things.

I may have to revisit and do them all again in the future though. Doing washes and highlights for 8k worth of Tau is not a walk in the park.
