What was your issue? What was your fix? My game won't start, too.

Edit: On the next day it decided to work, I can't tell what I did differently.

I was following the instructions in the readme up to the point 'Start up the game.' and it doesn't want to start in the first place. It crashes when I want to boot up the game, with and without changing the $game_data$ from false to true. I require assistance, in all my years of playing STALKER mods I've never had this issue before.

Edit: I don't really know what I did different. On the next day I installed it with the patch again and now I got into the game succesfully. Wish I could tell what was wrong the first time.

Thank you very much for this! I chose Clear Sky as my first faction and there's barely anything going on in the swamps, so I made most of my money with selling guns from dead military soldiers. This addon helps a lot.

Sadly my german version of Stalker doesn't seem to like this mod. It runs fine but the sentences end up as shown in the screenshots I posted some comments below some time ago. I would really like to play it properly though.

Nvm, my comment above. I figured it out myself after some tries. I just wasn't looking close enough.

I'm currently stuck in the section where I have to plant the device in the mercenary camp. I was surprised to see almost all of them dead, except for Hook and the guard. So, when I get to the point where it tells me "press F to plant it". I'm come as far as this: Postimg.org Now I can't continue. It doesn't let me leave or open the menu or the inventory and I have to close the game completely to load a save file. I have tried pressing all the buttons as shown in the screenshot but nothing happens. I require help to solve this problem and continue my first playthrough of this, so far, good mod.

I've tried installing and overwriting the files to the CoP-Directory but I can't get it to work. This time I've made some screenshots, I hope someone knows a solution to this because I would really like to play it (BTW I own the german version, is that the reason it won't work ?)

After downloading and trying it out, I am not able to play it properly. Even with our without the english translation, all I get instead of sentences are for example: pb_quest_line_lutiy_start_0 and so on; with the first mission being: pb_who_is_happening_part_1_name. I would really like to play it, but with that it's currently impossible for me.

So far everything runs as expected apart from one thing: Whenever I loot a body from its rifle ammo (and I have the same ammo on my belt) it takes an ammo box off my belt and puts it with the looted ammo in my backpack. So everytime I loot someone, I gotta put the ammo back on my belt everytime.

Started up the game, everything is fine. BUT... is it weird that I can see silhouette of the player model in first person when I approach a light source ?

Update: Switched the graphic settings to high and now everything is 100% fine.

Yeah ok that's really easy. I didn't remember the sequence in which I had to intall it, I have an older version from some time last year but I'm too lazy to update that when I have the opportunity to start from anew right here. Thank you for that.

So, because I'm stupid with this I'm just gonna ask: Do I just have to install the "Complete Package Mega Upload" and after that the Unofficial english patch 0.9.1.7 and I'm good to go ? Are Fixx15 and Fixx 17 inluded in the mega upload and not required to install afterwards ?

Little problem with one of the first quests: "Find the Veteran's Cache" In the barn, after I gave Healer the artifact he wanted for the tablet/book he says that he threw it on the roof. On what part of the roof is it exactly because I can't seem to find it, not even around the building or in the wooden box.

You are not alone out there with this problem lately, only the "Europe at War" mod works if installed via steam. But I don't know a solution for this problem, too.

So guys I hope someone can help me: After I went to the X18 a second time to gather a detector (or whatever it is) that is behind the locked control room door. After I ran for my life from the burers that spawned I got kidnapped from bandits as soon as I left the lab. I think in that process I lost the gravity gun (that shoots bolts) and I NEED IT FOR THE SCIENTIST'S QUEST. I picked up everything that was in the room next to me after the military attacked but I couldn't find it. Even if I would know the concole command to spawn it in my inventory I would do it, but almost everything on the internet about this amazing game is written in russian. PLS HELP !!!

I might have a solution: I downloaded ORL over this link Pastebin.com 1. The standalone 2. A patch 3. The english translation . Either you try the patch and THEN put the translation in the folder OR (as I did) you download the 3 things over the mega-links because the options menu works completely fine for me after I gave it a shot ;) I don't know if it's gonna work for you but this link saved my life :D

Somebody knows what the "Wagon Key" is for ? Found it in the underground tunnels in Cordon while exploring the rooms with the beds.
