I enjoyed playing through this one, even though it wasn't very clear at first where the hell you need to go or what do you need to accomplish, but the attention to details, lovely brushwork and texturing negate all the negatives, I had a lot of fun and still think about how lovely some areas looked. Will this be compatible with HL2MMod?

Yes you can play Cinematic Mod 2013 with this, and yes it forces default HL2 models and most of the sounds.
I'd really love to, but I can't trust anyone with source code right now and I can't do it myself. Maybe in the future.
Also make sure your another PC has all games and mod itself installed on same drive, it's in readme.
Holster was already in the mod once, but it slowed gameplay by a lot ( which i tried to avoid at all cost ), it also didn't play very nice with model effects ( gravity gun is one example ) they would tranition to other guns despite turing them off manually. Even when i fixed the latter they would still re-appear on loading saved game. It's a ******* mess and I decided to cut it.
When i return to this project ( second part of 2019 ) I will give hands/holster a shot, something like crysis had with its hands system perhaps.

Should I do this for all NPC's then?
Why are you using obsolte game version, it was fixed already.
For me they work just fine.
Half-Life 2 and its expansions are heavily scripted, removing ( killing ) one variable ( character, NPC ) can ( and sometimes totally will ) break the game entierly. Map scripting is too reliant on certain npc's to be alive.
If you want to expel your anger on almost defenceless NPC's then you should look elsewhere. Friendly fire in HL2 was removed for a reason.
RPG can kill friendly NPC's on some ( not all ) maps due to a unknown glitch, source engine can nibble on my nuts.
No. HL2 models looks like absolute **** when they seen upclose, unless someone can remodel every weapon for me - yes, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
