nvm, i've fixed it by using the 4gb patch i found within the comments. i think it should be added to the addons folder in the mod so that future users would know what to do when they encounter the problem i have.
this is a bit of a pain, i keep getting the malloc failure. it's not about the poor performance, my performance is great. it just it kept crashing whenever i progress to a new level. its about the way it loads. i can't even progress at the very starting point of the game. i dont want to make my game look shittier because whats even the point of using a hd mod. its to fix whatever the hell that is crashing it. i know my drivers are at the latest version.
i absolutely adore this mod. but im just gonna ask, does the support for the mission pack 1 and 2 have replacement for the textures and models in the game with the epsilon hd ones? it's going to be awkward seeing a blurry low res texture in a hd environment.
my goodness, this is absolutely incredible, baffling, astonishing, wonderful even. this with the dhewm 3 source port is just PERFECT! it makes doom 3 look like a modern game. like damn!
bugs in latest versions of gzdoom, the blue tint in the screen when picking up health items stays on instead of dissapearing, a little irritating cause i rlly like this mod. i hope it gets fixed. as of now, may i know what version of gzdoom where its originally worked on? so i dont get the bug.
nvm, you dont have to use max_dxlevel 81. just turn the shadow quality to medium instead of high

could you extend the stock for the m4 and extend the rocket launcher in viewmodels for the next update so that there wont be any see through parts when turning around. it always had bothered me when playing half life source since the view models arent designed for hl2 head bobbing

there's 2 missing textures at map 18 at the entrance of the mall area.
maybe the texture only exists in v20 of brutal doom idk. anyways this is great if you want to play this map pack in newer versions of gzdoom.
the gonarch hl1 splash doesnt have a texture, but disabling it does bring the texture again
hello, for some reason alien ragdoll blood when gibbed is cyan and not yellowish green
this is really cool, but can you do the animations with the normal hev hands and guns? also a port of this animations to the vanilla half life 2 would be nice too ^_^
i removed the mod from my half life 2, now the models have white faces and missing texture eyes.

i kinda want the quake axe, quake railgun, dual pistols and sniper rifle to be removed, those weapons doesn't fit doom. is there anyway to remove them?

theres a problem in the dual pistols, it still wants to reload even tho it cant. what i meant is that it cant shoot. also the chainsaw and the quake axe doesnt have 3d models, it would be nice if you added 3d models for the 2. sorry if you're a bit confused, english is not my 1st language

FINALLY A 3D DOOM MOD I HAVE BEEN FOUDING FOR MONTHS!!! months ago i have been trying to find a 3d doom mod that looks like quake/quake 2, countless hours of searching and not founding any so i gave up. then months later i found this mod. im rlly glad this exist.
can you have it as just a skin for the original weapons, i dont like the smooth animation. i want it in crispy doom
