Underhell, and Finally Black Mesa Source) this mod won't contain :Sexualized alyx, Non Vanilla Game guns (However Changes the Animations

And high def textures), F.E.A.R Replica Soldiers, No combine voice changes, No Edited Vanilla guns (Spas 12 buttstock, Laser sighted Mp7,

44 magnum Scope (etc.) and finally no PRODUCT PLACEMENT (NO COCA COLA SIGNS).

(Keep in mind the screenshots are taken with Sweetfx enabled, i highly recommend using ICBINE From Skyrim for the Sweetfx preset, just download sweetfx base first then replace it with ICBINE then put all the files in the "bin" folder in your directory)

Its been a long time coming, i finally finished it after 4 months of doing absolutely anything other than finish the mod i finally got around into finishing it.

Since HL2:MMOD is FINALLY coming, im tooking to make a compatible version for HL2RTP and thus the next update will probably take a while longer but until then here's the progress of my mod

-Changed Combine Banners to have more variation
-Optional Bad Company 2 Sounds
-Incorporated CM13 ep1-2 normals and phong to vehicles
-Reflective Cabinet fixed
-New Metrocop texture
-New AR2 texture
-New Door Texture

Came across this when trying to mod HL2 for a new playthrough, so I figured I'd throw in my two cents on it.

So far it's a decent compilation, mainly for the textures. I'm not a fan of the new audio for most things. The physics stuff sounds fine, but I personally found all of the NPC stuff to detract from the game. Most of the enemies lost their characteristic sound, or the new sounds were just too hard to hear to begin with. So I removed all of that. Some people might prefer it though.

As far as textures go, most of it looks good, though some of the new textures change the look of certain areas in terms of color and whatnot. It's not that the new textures don't fit, it's just that they don't maintain the same color and tone of the originals. Some of the areas during the airboat sections looked kind of weird with the new textures because they were much lighter in color than the originals. I might have to go back and take a screenshot of those areas for reference.

Additionally, some of the props had envmapping problems or other oddities. So I went ahead and fixed that myself since I have some experience with Source and stuff. The props I fixed so far were props_wasteland/coolingtank01, props_wasteland/barricade001a (002a), and props_wasteland/controlroom_storagecloset001a (001b). Might as well inform you on those, just in case you weren't aware of them already.

Anyway, keep up the hard work, man. Nobody else is really modding HL2 anymore, so this is a welcome project in my opinion.

I think this mod is great. I like how it dosen't change the games art style too much and the developer dosen't shove dildos in aleces bedroom and changes game mechanics
