first i believe both this mod and cry of fear have silent hill influences and second i wouldn't say silent hill is **** from the first to shaterred memories where great (like 2 and origins) or regular good (like homecoming) i haven't played downpour yet so can't speak for that one

judging by the comments some people will end up in a asylum before it releases

played this years ago, great mod, great action (only problem i had was that my mouse settings kept changing to a high sensitivity)

he is trying to recreate the feel of silent hill, in those series the area you were in would turn into "the otherworld version of that place", it mostly had an old rusty metal look with a lot of fans and also... more monsters
