Yes, see here: Moddb.com
Here's a installation guide I wrote: Moddb.com
It contains everything you need.
Well, what kind of computer do you have? Almost every PC (that is not 20 years old) is able to play it but a fast CPU definitely helps in reducing the loading times.
You can play regular FH with bots on some of the map pack maps. FHSW has no bot support.
It was on "Monster des Stahles" at one point but it doesn't seem to be there anymore in the current release. It's still in the game files though so you could let it spawn if you know how to edit maps.
I can neither confirm nor deny, to my knowledge there's no official statement regarding the status of the mod.
Where during installation do you get the error? Can you provide me a screenshot please?
Hi, download the 4GB patch: Ntcore.com
and use it on the BF1942.exe
Loading times of this mod can be very long depending on your PC specs so just let it load, either it loads the map or shows an error. I've never seen it getting stuck on the loading screen. The loading bar is misleading in FHSW, it's best to ignore it.
Use no compatibility mode or WinXP, never Win98/ME because it increases loading by times a lot.
Here you go: 22.214.171.124:14567
It's on Operation Spring Awakening.
Battle of Bougainville, Midway (objective mode version) and probably some more.
They unfold automatically when you start the plane.
Did you also install the 4GB patch which is mentioned in the dev blog entry?
Yes, Moscow Outskirts (1941).
Yes, some Mark V tanks might have been used in the defense of Berlin: Beutepanzer.ru
On Apennines and Operation Varsity it spawns at round start.
What does it look like from first person? Is the camera following the animation?
20 mm coax gun, see description.
I don't know whey they got removed, sorry.
Hi, download one of the new BF1942.exe's:
which you can find here: Team-simple.org
and replace the one you're currently using.
You can still play Forgotten Hope after you have installed this mod.
Then keep dreaming. Not going to happen from what I can see.
There are a couple of Polish maps in this mod if that's what you're asking. Especially the Warsaw Uprising map is quite unique.
You could try one of the available different BF1942.exe's: Team-simple.org
Maybe a file got corrupted, try a re-download of Part 1. Alternatively you can download the zip archive of the mod: Drive.google.com
Way to Paris 1946
Either with the regular Windows tools (Control Center -> Software -> Uninstall it's listed as FHSW 0.6) or you just delete the folder "FHSW" from ..\Battlefield 1942\Mods\
So if you play on Win98 it works, but on everything else it crashes? Win98 mode doesn't allow a higher resolution sadly.
You click on Multiplayer -> Internet, then you get the list of servers. The IPs for the two FHSW servers are listed in the news. Be aware that there are only people on at specific times though.
Was that only on one map or multiple? I had that problem, too once. Just had to restart and it worked again.
