I think I figured out the issue. This mod is not compatible with the Linux version of Half-Life 2. Thanks anyways.

Same here. The fix was made in the Luxtorpeda compatibility tool if you don't mind playing the Mod on Steam.

Hello! I'm really interesting in playing this mod. It looks like some serious work and time was put into it. It seems that the steam page says only for Windows, which is sad. Is there any way of playing this on Linux. Preferably doing so Natively. Thank you!

Hello! I say a review on this Mod and was REALLY interested in trying it. The part that immediately hooked me was how powerful the shotgun sounded lol. And yes, also the various weapon modifications got my attention. This looks like a very well made mod, but sadly... I'm getting errors when trying to load the mod. Help would be much appreciated and make me very happy! Possible error question: Does this mod work with dhewm3? Thank you.

Yes, I changed the name from an uppercase 'P' to a lowercase 'p' and this is what happens.

I've watched even more reviews on this mod, It's more amazing the more I watch it, I REALLY want to play it!

So here's what I did in order

1. I downloaded Perfected Doom 3 version 7

2. I then downloaded
Perfected Doom 3 version 7.0.2 Patches
Perfected Doom 3 - NextGen SoundPack v6
Perfected Doom 3 - NextGen Sound FX pack: Weapons/Pickups

3. I dragged the MAIN file from downloads to my doom-3 directory next to base (NOT IN BASE, but next to)

4. I then put both the Patch 7.0.2 and NextGenSondPack (NOT WEAPON PACK) into the Perfected folder

5. I put pak010.pk4(FROM WEAPON PICKUPS) into base and renamed it to pak009 because I only had up to pak008.

6. I ran the game, went to mods, and it didn't show up.

7. Then I went and renamed the MAIN file from Perfected to perfected (Changing the uppercase p to a lowercase one) AND IT SHOWED UP!

8. I loaded up the game and BOOM error... I cried

Hello! I've been really interested in the Doom franchise and have played classic Doom many times. I now would really like to play some Doom 3, but in style, bringing me here! People talk about this mod being really good, but this error is stopping me from playing this mod.

WARNING: Couldn't load mod-specific perfected.so, defaulting to base game's library!

ERROR: Error: file PerfectedDoom3v7.0.0_Data.pk4/script/doom_events.script, line 13: Unknown event 'isLowered

Not sure how to fix this, really wanted to try out the mod today. Help would be nice, thanks.

I'm Really impressed with the weapon animations in this mod! Contrary to a few people, I like DOOM 2016 monster sprites. One issue with this update though. Is the green dot in the HUD signifying the use of the dash effect, or is it a error? Again, amazing mod! And also, would like to know about the green dot.

I've watched this mod through completion, and it's amazing! But when I installed the mod, it didn't work.

I have all 3 hl2 steam games, changed Source SDK 2013 Single Player to [upcoming], and have the mod in my sourcemods folder.

The error that comes up is this: "Could not load library client. Try restarting. If that doesn't work, verify cache."

Also, to see if I was having issues with my other sourcemods, I don't, because I've gotten a different mod to work.

I really appreciate content like this, and would love some help. Thank you, you steam a good mod :)
