I believe I asked this question ages ago, but I’ve long since forgotten the response. I assume that the plan is eventually to expand to other regions and conflicts, like France, Burgundian Wars, and Italy, etc. Will it be possible to play as the faction leader ie play as King Louis XI of France? Regardless, it goes without saying that this mod seems to be THE most exhaustively in-depth historical one for Bannerlord.

Why is Paris and assumedly the French royal arms incorrectly that of René of Anjou? Otherwise it looks like a superbly splendid mod, just a few inaccuracies here and there.

I'm sure this has been considered, but are there any plans to edit the campaign map to reflect more historical provinces and regions?

This may well not even be possible considering CA's moronic blocking of a campaign map editor, but I've heard that the Rise of Mordor team are working on a Middle-earth campaign map with an editor of some sort which they have created.

I don't wish to seem rude or presumptuous in any way; the work done already on this mod is astonishing and is something to be proud of.

Will it be possible to play as a particular ruler?

I remember that was an option in the old 1257 mod for warband and it was brilliant. I would think with the full modding tools due to be released eventually it would possible to place the player as a particular historical monarch, say for instance Louis XI, with all the respective family members and children.

Also, with the coop mod in full swing, do you think this mod might consider ever implementing their coop? Once all the chinks have been ironed out of course.

Regardless, everything looks splendid so far!

Thank you. It seemed not to work any more after Stainless Steel 6.4, but I think something should be done to remedy that. I think it’s one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game.

Are historical battles and battles created in the battle editor not available?
Each time I try to play a battle I've created, I press next and it just takes me back to the previous screen.

Almost every single battle crashes following a red script error notification. I have downloaded and reinstalled several times to no avail. Its maddening, this is a beautiful mod but the constant, incessant crashing make it utterly unplayable. I may well be installing it incorrectly, but at this point I doubt it. I have installed each patch in the proper order as well as properly installing WSE and each time the game is absolutely diseased with crashes.

At some point, will you have a second look at the high roster of the English faction? By that I mean, the king/general unit supposed to be Edward III. However the livery is slightly incorrect as he is wearing the Prince of Wales’ livery of his son, Edward the Black Prince. Just a small quibble I grant, but it bothers me every time I play the English high roster.

Oh, no, custom battles work like a charm. However, you make a slight edit to the cfg file and add [features]
editor = true
then in the options menu, the Battle Editor option should appear. I have made this edit and it did appear in-game, however when I choose it the game crashes. What I was wondering is if the Battle Editor is specifically prohibited by this mod or if not, is there a way to make it work properly? I used to script historical battles like Crécy and Poitiers with the battle editor and I was hoping I could do that with this beautiful mod.

Alright, I figured what the issue was... Turns out I was installing the english files into the main M2TW BS214 folder rather than the mods sub-folder. In any case, this is a beautiful mod. The units look superb. Well done all around. However, does the Battle Editor not work? It crashes every time I try to use it. I hope it does in the upcoming release, I use it a great deal.

I have done that several times now as well as replacing the russian files/installing english translation, but the game is still in Russian. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have installed all the files in the winrar archive "data" folder to each of their repsective replacements, as well as place the BS_Setup.ini in the main M2TW BS214 folder. Is that incorrect? It may have something to do with the fact that the bs_setup is still all in russian for me.

Is there a way to enable the Battle Editor? I've tried the usual 'adding the line [features] editor = true' to the preferences file but to no avail. Does the battle editor not work with this mod? It does with the original DLV but with this it doesn't appear in the options menu as it should.

Hello,

I realize this is a rather far-fetched question, but... Will there eventually (and I greatly stress that 'eventually') be a mid-campaign in the 14th century and a late campaign in the 15th century? In no way do I wish to be pressing or intrusive as its obvious to all how much patience, time, and effort is being put into the first edition of the campaign, but I wanted to ask. The fact that Medieval II TW never had a late campaign unless one modded it extensively always irritated me.

When will Scotland be an included faction in custom battles, if indeed it even will be? It’s a significant hole in this mod in my opinion. One of the things that really improves the gameplay in the 1220 mod is it’s incorporation of Scotland, which is entirely warranted and relevant. I really admire what is being done with new factions like Croatia for instance, but to be frank, as you say Croatia was a mere fief kingdom of the Hungarian crown and not an independently sovereign like Scotland for instance. Using the new Croatian faction logic, I suppose you must now add each and every small, nonentity state of the HRE and Italy and just go the way of feudalism to the extreme This I think would be foolhardy rather than shore the hole that exists without a new Scottish faction in custom battles. However, I do not in anyway wish to be misunderstood as chiding the extraordinarily unique and immensely brilliant work that has been done on the excellent mod so far. Quite the opposite in fact. I am not some interminable SNP rambler wishing to exaggerate the kingdom’s importance on the medieval stage, rather someone hoping to point out that forgetting the relevance of Scotland in medieval Britain and thus the medieval world is just as bad as overstating it’s significance therefore leaving a gap in this mod’s near-flawless overall performance. Just a thought...

I have been having an issue with the battle replays. When loading a battle replay, the bar loads fully and then the game crashes entirely. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
