Probably, each of us on a question "What is the best mod for Medieval 2 TW?" Everyone answers "Of course: BULAT STEEL TW". What has he drawn attention of fans of Medieval II Total War from around the world with? In this mod all to the maximum: 500 units, 200 regions, 30 historical fractions. The global modification created by domestic authors with deep study of the Russian and European fractions, including a set of scripting events and also other interesting innovations. it is not simply new global Mod for good old Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms, is the real masterpiece.

Patch and translation are cumulative

Changelog:

-The officers are registered in the rebalance for everyone.
-New standard bearers for some units
-Guard of Dievas is now recruited in the first level of the Altar of Dievas.
-Changing the officer of the Scandinavian archers from a knight to a Viking
-Stats for Kartali swordsmen and spearmen fixed
-in the rebalance, the silver textures for the general of the Lithuanian rebels have been fixed
-The public order penalty has been reduced by 10% depending on the distance to the capital.
-The city guards were moved from the barracks to the magistrates (like the Varangs in Byzantium)
-replaced English archers (! bug) for mercenary crossbowmen in mercenary barracks.
-the foot knights of the Order of Santiago with rebalance were ghosts (bronze upgrade) - fixed
-Turkish horsemen (mercenaries) removed from Africa
-new art for the event about the church tithe of Byzantium

Other edits:
-Now working videos of victories (after completing campaign conditions) for many factions! (We had a bug due to which they were not displayed at all. Thanks for the Okzersal fix)
-Corrections in the script "Military aid to the weak" (UPU):
• (early) (slightly strengthened Turks AI against IR AI)
• added help monitor for Novgorod
• added help monitor for Papacy
-Removed veterans in armor from the starting troops (after all, they have been hired since 1310)
-Italian Horse Militia removed from 12th and 13th century from all scripts.
In all scripts (including AI Gain Script):
-Removed Heavy urban spearmen from the 12th century (early).
-removed veterans in armor from the 13th century (only in the 14th century)
-removed Lendermen from the Scandinavians (Sweden and Norway) from the 13th century (only in the 14th century)
- removed bollards from TO from the 13th century (only in the 14th century)
-numerous adjustments in scripts (by army composition)
-Coronation for Lithuania now has a separate event. Just like the Mongols who converted to Islam.
-Finally removed growing corruption with negative treasury (thanks to Norinke)
-Urban Spear Militia has been removed from the UPU for some factions that do not have skins for them.
-Reconquest of the capital for the Pope is now working.
-New icons and info for some units
-Fixed a bug in the Wallace rebellion script.
-other little things

Am I missing something but when there is a ceasefire order from the Pope, the AI can attack me without being excommunicated?

it seems not
with such a task from the Pope, you can only attack a faction on your own lands. and the same goes for AI.

Hey. thanks. We are working on patch 5. We should finish within a month. Well, the final version of BS 2.1.5 is planned for the New Year.

first there was a beta version.
then the release version.
and in the end there will be a final version. (which we are working on now)

Hello, nice mod btw. But the only thing that I find off is why are the accents of the Eastern European factions is Mediterranean? As well as Scotland having an English accent. I tried editing the descr_sound_accents and deleted the events.idx and .dat but to no avail. I hope you will find a fix to this, for this is a wonderful mod!

Hi Leekaaa and sorry for bothering you again, but is possible to change the date which the mongols and the teutonic order arrive?

Because I took a look on the campaign script, and I didn't find a way to change. Also looked in the vanila game, maybe it could help me, but for no result as well. I want to make them come a bit earlier in my campaign.

they are tied to the event. you need to change the date of the event in the file descr_events.txt
