While digging through the BFME 1 textures files I found a portrait of a numenorean archer under the name art\textures\upnumenorean_archer.dds
Could you replace the portrait of the arnorian archers that is using gondor archer's portrait and instead use this one?

I have found some models that give the Fighters and the Archer their upgrade effects although only weapons are effected The3rdage.net
I believe Galaxy at War does not needed permission from Lucas Art, EA, or even Disney. So I think your in the clear to continue developing mod, Also if you complete the Star Wars the Old Republic can you do SWKOTR.
It called the Bayonet, used since flintlock musket as far I seen. It useful against cavalry and replace previous tactics using pike and musket. It also provide the infantry a shooter/melee weapon. In fact it my favorite weapon.
I doing this in campaign so I don't have access to armory yet.
The Installer Freezes as it actually installing during freezing, it happen to me for a few program bust just wait and it will install. Hope I answer your problem

When I put the file in, and load it up and the game just close.
When I run the mod it said about CD.
Nvm, I thought it was for Battle for Middle earth 2 and not ROTWk which I have Edain Mod.
When I tried to play i, it says i need CD Roms even tho I have the CD images mounted.
For the Installer, it supposed to be non responding. Just wait a few minutes and it will install it, Be patient. As gandalf says "'I wish it need not have happened in my time,' said Frodo.

Welp I be sitting for hours destroying enemies building, while they build and then I gonna spend more hours. XD
Is it me or destroying structures take a very long time when units are not ungraded.
I recommend to start a new campaign, to avoid any problem like coding.
Thx it works. Now I can spam Yeoman Archers in good campagin.
