hey devs, outstanding work, been playing this masterpiece since the early days of beta-releases, you have come such a long way and you can be more than proud for becoming good friends and fans alike connected to such a dedicated project, sometimes

i swear i can hear your heavy breathing and smell your sweat ;-) when you are putting things together...

i wonder if ya can reach another take off...you all know probably reshade and sweetfx, is it possible to create a nice preset for STA3? i know you have enough to do and this is another request on daily basis, but i feel, you can create a real good preset for sins of a solar empire...i tried it several times for my own, but i never succeeded in a good athmospheric and authentic preset...thx for reading this wall of text

hey mate...good work so far...here is a link to some historical used patterns for Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther" on all fronts, just switch between the photos, some might be an inspiration for your own work...

btw...may i suggest the Fla-MG gunner should "wear" headphones like the Panzerkommandant from the Waffen-SS tank commander...i am also not a fan of Fla-MG`s at all, i was a senior tankcommander in my army times before, no one is using that exposed position in tankcombat at all unless ya want to do suicide ;-) even in combat with soft targets like infantry was...but for gameplay purposes it fits, just my two cents

halftrack is one of those really outstanding skinners in coh world, alongside georider, widowmaker and some others

his HD skins are probably the best, mostly randomized (yeah :-)) and a good source for your own work

really good work with the volksgrenadiers, seems like they are randomized, did just one test for now

the only nitpicking i have for now is the panzergrenadier skin for wehrmacht, wehrmacht units had worn their eagle(Hoheitsabzeichen) on their right chest and waffen-ss units had worn their eagles on the left and right sleeves, they can easily be recognized on photos,your skin now uses all three eagles, hehe...so for historical authentic feelings ya should delete the eagles on their sleeves

as i saw, ya gave Tigerass a new "skin" in version F8, would ya improve over all the skins of the factions? perhaps as a sub-addon? greetz to ya from germany...and this addon was long awaited and much appreciated...well done

really nice addition to this mod i must say, i have respect for ya to to do this for us...every small detail makes this mod more and more final...two bugs found so far:

first: Wehrmacht Sanitäter has a "pink" unit-icon
second: Panzerelite should be called Waffen-SS

question: do ya plan the same for the commonwealth?

suggestion: keep buildings from Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS as provided with vanilla blitzkrieg, they had camouflage skins now they are greyish vanilla instead

is it even possible to request some skin changes on infantry, randomizing skins for vehicles and infantry or is that out of your interest or possibilities?

sorry to here 'bout last development issues, this mod has come a very long way, it has it's own outstanding history, makes me really sad to see it slowly dying :-(...let me say and i think it's not just me, COH with it's mods his by far superior to it's successor COH2 in many ways and i hope that this mod doesn't die...

the only mod with such an amount of work in detail, describing the different armies and their composition, real divisions, real names, the skins and sounds...

the only complaint for me now is this fastpaced gameplay, i think it is to fast, no time for reinforce infantry because they are down within seconds, to many callins with to many units, small maps are just meatground for hundreds of units, getting lost in seconds...while this is more realistic with real world stats, it destroys the tactical gameplay within the mod itself...just my humble opinion here...hope ya understand the "krautish" text i wrote...have a nice weekend pal!

Hi, hat bei mir keinerlei Auswirkungen gehabt, lass es max 2-5 FPS sein, kommt auf Arbeitsspeicher und Grafikspeicher an. Das geniale ist ja im Prinzip die Glättung durch sweetfx shader anstatt der rechenintensiven AA-Modi.

Diese kleine grafische Modifikation ist online-kompatibel und mit jeder anderen Mod kompatibel.

COH sollte mit directx10, also Ultra Einstellungen gespielt werden.

Okay, hier kommt ein kleiner West-äh, Textwall :-)...

Da Halftrack soviel für die Community getan hat(Ich möchte mich höchstpersönlich bei Dir bedanken im Namen meines Freundeskreises, für die vielen unvergesslichen matches mit dieser Mod, die Liebe zum Detail, deine Passion mit der Du unentgeldlich etwas ganz besonderes geschaffen hast und natürlich die Geduld mit uns noobs!!!), COH noch immer so beliebt ist(coh2 ist sch...) und ich einfach kurz Zeit habe, möchte ich eine Entdeckung schildern...

Auf der Seite des Links findet man eine sweetfx basierende installer-version (basiert auf der ganz neuen Version 1.51) eigentlich für Rome2 total war (Fehlkauf) gedacht und von der dortigen community für Rome2 quasi aufgebügelt

- die Version R2-TW-GEMv22-HD_installer.zip herunterladen, gleich auf der Startseite des Threads, keine andere Version nutzen, die funktionieren nicht richtig
- die Datei entpacken und die exe-Datei einfach ausführen(doppelklick), das Verzeichnis blabla:\steam\steamapps\common\COH-relaunch angeben, also nur den gameordner direkt, entpacken lassen
- game starten und AA ausmachen und voila...man erhält ein richtig gutes scharfes und detailiertes Bild in HD, damit sieht COH mit dieser Mod nochmal besser aus

konnte leider keine Sceenies machen...lohnt sich aber wirklich, bin auf die Reaktion gespannt

Wer Rechtschreibfehler findet, darf sie natürlich behalten!
