So, is the ammo thing they were talking about possible? Using the logic and code from this Aug mod, could you just have a second "radial" menu bound to a button and replace the augs with the contextual ammo types?
OK. I've played this for a bit now and in my experience it is WAY buggier than the first beta.
The new levels are neat, but the actual HL campaign is a mess. Scientists have no idea how to navigate these corpses and houndeyes feel way too strong.
Also, this "bleeding out" mechanic needs to be optional. Doesn't fit HL, IMO.
So much work obviously went into this mod, and there are so many great features that could make this the ultimate HL experience (new weapons, ADS, kick, better gore and wound animations, etc). It would be shame to have these unnecessary bugs and bizarre creative decisions mess it all up.
Drastic changes need to be optional. I like playing on hard, but losing remaining ammo in a mag or bleeding out is not fun here - that belongs in Red Orchestra...
I see Doom and Quake guns, but did the Duke Nukem stuff make it into this beta?

Does this mod include the infamous difficulty healing fix? The base game doesn't even give you enough time to do a "manual" heal animation.

This looks amazing! Love the new effects and animations. A few questions...
1. Can the AK be "commented out" ala SMOD? Not a fan of it in HL2.
2. Are there any plans to include aiming or kicking from SMOD? Love these features.

What kind of rig do I need to run this with max grass density? I've never seen a game with such amazing grass and foilage, but my FX 8350 4ghz and GTX 970 4gb runs at 10fps if I crank the grass up.
Can you share how you disabled the radar? I'd like to just do that.

Zaton seems bugged for me. The M203 launcher is no longer in the old truck behind the waste processing area, and Beard will only buy and sell energy drinks.
Are these changes intentional? Loading/leaving the area do not fix either issue.
Is there ANY way you can include corpse throw "splatting" as an option?
