This is 1.2.5 of the mod. Went through and fixed all reported bugs. You should start a new game, and ONLY USE DX9. We no longer use Reshade, and instead have tweaked the graphics internally.
Does this version improve anything?
All releases marked September 10th fix some game code that may cause issues on the south map if you haven't already rescued all the buddies.
This specific file you've commented on includes the player position on the map, and has the new color grading.

It's 100% safe. That's because there are .exes included, I think.
So, this is Far Cry 2 Realism+ Redux but with player position on map, right?
