Great Mod!
Really a great job but a have random crash on the steam version during space battles, I tried every solution listed above but it seems there no solution.
I tried to let the "demo" battle in the menu screen to run to see if the problem persist also during title menu and, again, after few minutes of main menu, it crashes to desktop
Grat work Megabalta, finally someone who understood Star Wars battles comes directly from WWII pacific battles!
Great mod but how to recruit my faction troop giving the "recruit" order to the Constable, it seems my faction is not in the list.
I forgot... After saved and reloaded the game my troop tree was correct but all the troops name reverted at default ones "A1, A2" and so on

About using Pirates Get to the menu of GALACTICT CONQUEST and select Galactic Confict
Open the menu of the factions, and KEEP YOUR MOUSE ON THE MENU.
Click and hold the menu. Then, using your mouse scroll wheel, scroll down to the Black Sun Pirates.
Put your mouse over the Pirates, and let go. You should have selected it.
Pirates ARE PLAYABLE in "Galactic Conquest" sandbox map
please, leave the smoke effect from torpedoes, it's useless, unrealistic and framerate killer
if you find the game Treasure Planet Battle of Procyon you will find a great game that make this mod useless, btw this game was made by Kerberos production!
i think that the best result will be a turn game as in the tabletop, something as ufo games
The only thing make me not love this mod and this game too is the scale factor of the ships, no one is scaled with the other and fighters seems to be ships for giant pilots.
There is a way to modify the scale factor of the models?
is better to half ( or 1\3 ) the troop size ( only troops, beasts and civilians ) if not there will be too much troops for the monitor space!
