Happy to hear it!
Hey dude, idk if you're still active here, but is it possible to add the freelancer mod to yours?
Is this going to be updated?
I'm not affiliated with the dev team at all, but they never will. They don't want pirates to use their mod.
Ah, ok but now the editor can't find files in "Native\textures" directory.
Edit: The path in the settings.cfg was wrong. Corrected it. Now it opens a window then closes it immidiately.
Edit2: It just refuses to work with AD1257 and any of its submods. I tried opening "Between Empires" mod and it worked. Is the map of Europe in AD1257 too big or something?
Edit3: Tested it with all the other mods I have including 2 of yours (Renaissance and Sparta). They all work.
Edit4: After further testing, it seems like any mod with custom map files of some sort can't be opened.
Where are those files which Thorgrim's Editor uses? Inside it's directory? Fyi, I'm using a program called "MapManager" to launch Thorgrim's Editor, because it doesn't work on it's own on my pc.
I can't get Thorgrim's Editor and Bloodpass to work on my pc unfortunately.
Edit: I did manage to get Thorgrim's Editor to work, but it doesn't work with any of AD1257's versions. I could open the native map just fine.
I was using Swyter's Cartographer and didn't know that I could edit the map only with the map.txt. It does work, but it's a bit wonky since I can't move settlements.
Great work as always! Quick question, would you mind uploading the source code or sending it to me, please? I find AD 1257's map to be very flat and would like to edit in some mountains, forests. But for that, I need the "module_parties.py". It's strictly for personal use, by the way!
I'm amazed by this mod. Seriously, how did you guys achieve all this?
By the way, quick question. Since the date was extended all the way into 1918 - will the balkan countries gain freedom from the Ottoman Empire at the appropriate dates?
Yes and it works. Though I would've preffered to have the Moddb version as well just in case, but oh well.
I did post there and @jorellaf tried to help me but we couldn't figure out what was wrong. You can read it in the bug reports channel.
This mod is just so amazingly in-depth in dare I say all areas. And that map is a work of art, beautiful. I feel like this is the most underrated mod for Medieval 2 just because it focuses more on eastern Europe (which I as a bulgarian love lol).
It's a fresh installation with no other mods. Only RIS 0.1.3
My game crashes without error when I press on play in the launcher. I only see the loading screen for a second and then the game crashes.
I love your past mods so I'm very excited about this rework!
One of my fav mods. Everything feels surprisingly polished and very well done. The only problem I had was untextured faces on some bulgarian generals and that's pretty much it. You've done a very good job with the names and regions, judging by Bulgaria. I haven't played the other factions yet, but I'm sure they're done just as well. I'm having a lot of fun with the bulgarian campaign. The units feel balanced, although I think the spears are a bit weaker than the neighbouring factions (stats-wise). Though the bulgarian halberdiers I think are better than the others.
Wow those models look amazing! So excited for this mod.
That's what I did, but I'll try it again anyway. Sorry for bothering you, didn't know that you're not a part of the dev team. Thanks for repacking the mod and putting it here.
I followed all the instructions to play with the steam version. I get a crash in the loading screen after the screen where you choose the difficulty, advisor, following AI etc, just before starting to play. It loads like 5% and crashes to desktop without any errors. I tried deleting everything and uninstalling both RTW and RTW Alexander, but the same issue persists. Help?
Good to hear. The scenes you've posted look amazing.
Wow this sounds great, I'll keep my eye on this mod.
Holy **** dude you've changed and added so much stuff! Amazing, 10/10
The Balkans were under Ottoman rule during that period. I think the devs of the mod can maybe add parties in the map hostile to the ottomans, because most balkan people had rebels against them.
About 3. I meant the settlements on the overworld, not the scenes themselves.
Thanks for the reply. I'll jot down the wrong names and I'll join the discord tomorrow.
Loving it so far! Just a few suggestions:
1. Is it possible to add more forests to the overworld map? Maybe some thicker woods in some areas? It looks a bit empty as it is.
2. Some of the settlements in modern day Bulgaria have the wrong names. I can help with correcting them, if it's possible.
3. Also the settlements in modern day Bulgaria look like desert settlements. Is it possible to make them more european-looking? Like the ones in Greece or Romania.
4. A female character in Vienna has an invisible body. Only head, hands and feet visible. Don't know about any others like this.
Hey man, do you think you guys would be able to create more quests/stories than the Warband mod? They don't have to be big and complicated, just some lore stuff from the books. Bannerlord feels perfect for that kind of stuff.
