Hello, unsure if this is a known issue or not or whether there is a work around but i'm having issues on E3M4. Arriving at Belaruz i get a CMD prompt popup citing outdated foundation and the option to resume or abort, choosing resume works fine and continues the mission but after driving off Matan and following the klingons to Belaruz 2 the game crashes the second i enter warp. I have applied the 4GB patch but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Will the final update for Armada 3 include the updated weapon VFX used in AotF by any chance? I'd love to see phaser beams with a visual "travel distance" between firing and impact like we see in AotF.

Are you still using LAA? The current version of Sins no longer requires the use of LAA with mods like STA.

Sounds like you went up against the Jagh'Eng (Probably butchered the name)

It's one of the Klingon Titans, It's more or less of a Last Resort than anything if playing Klingons, "Enemy have a massive Fleet that outnumbers yours 10 to 1? Send the Jagh in, bye bye Enemy Fleet". It's special ability is a massive explosion that sacrifices the ship itself and obliterates most ships instantly in a large radius.

Will there be a post Nemesis era or will it end with the DS9 era?

Typically found in Documents > My Games > Ironclad Games > Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion > Setting > rebellion.user. Scroll to the bottom of that file and look for "ShowErrors TRUE" without the quotations, change "TRUE" to "FALSE" again without the quotations and that should stop the Error popups.

To quote Max when referring to JJverse content "No..."

As for Axanar, the team had a mod for Sins based around Axanar, after the lawsuit some time back they dropped it so i doubt any will show here, it will most likely just be a transition from ENT era ships and Tech to TOS era ships and Tech.

Did you apply LAA properly? It's a very common mistake people make.

Incase you haven't heres a tutorial:

First you'll need to find your Sins.exe, typically located by default here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\sins of a solar empire rebellion

The relevant file is simply called 'Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion'. This is your Sins.exe. Right click, go into Properties and ensure that the .exe is NOT set to Read Only.

Then go to wherever you're keeping your Armada 3 files, kept by default in your Rebellion 1.85 mods folder located here:

C:\Users\USER\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.85

Find and open the program called Large Address Aware that came with your download of Armada 3

Once LAA is open, browse and select your Sins.exe mentioned above. Tick the box indicating that yes, you want the game to access more than 2GB of memory, and click 'Save'.

Play the game.

I admit, it would be a nice feature if possible, even if only to give your Civilian ships some limited defensive ability.

"This continued until the launch of Starfleet's Galaxy-class heavy starships, which outclassed anything the Cardassians were capable of fielding, including the Galor. Relative peace followed soon after."

Yup, the Cardies took one look at the Big Gal and said "Nope, we give up, we're screwed"

Unfortunately they've said that adding more factions is next to impossible as it would make the game unstable, they also said that they won't use asset from STO because it's "Canon" isn't officially Canon. Thats why we don't get ships like the Odyssey or Bortesque.

Yes, even his wife too i believe. Shack also provided the voices for the Cardassian Janissary class, the initial Capital ship of the Cardies ingame.

Similar in concept but they will be quite different once Infinities is released i think. The Dev team here prides themselves on a beautifully polished product. Not to mention if i recall correctly there was a problem a while back that Horizons ripped the models for their game straight from Armada 3 without asking for permission.

The Devs have already said a few times that the Romulans won't get another Titan because the Scimitar is a monster if used properly.

There was an "EnabledMods" txt file with the Mod that you place inside your Mods-Rebellion v1.84 folder. (Or whatever version you are running)

For some reason the game tends to freak out when you try to activate STA3 from the in-game mod menu.

Once that file is placed into your Mods-Rebellion folder run the game and it should work just fine.

The Devs had said it more than once i'm afraid. This mod is firmly planted in the Dominion War Era circa the 2370's, a good 40 odd years before any of those ships are supposed to exist. It's highly unlikely that they would be in the game, especially so since the ship rosters for each Faction are already filled and the Mod itself is entering it's final stages with the upcoming TFF update.
