All stock ships and bridges have been replaced with the most detailed versions available from our modding community. To accompany them, all ships have been given new custom and balanced hardpoints that makes every ship in the game feel 'realistic' to what is shown in the Star Trek series and movies.
Online Multiplayer functionality has been restored thanks to the Openspay.net hosting services. All new ships and mods are compatible in multiplayer, and 2 new PVE multiplayer modes are available, along with the stock 4 PVP modes.

-All torpedoes have been tweaked. Generally, ships can fire more than one torpedo per tube, more closely matching the shows.
-Ships with torpedoes that can be fired in "spreads" have been modified and re-balanced.
-Added visual EMP effect for the Breen Energy Drain Torpedo across the hull of the target vessel.
-All ships now have slightly stronger forward shields while having weaker side and aft shields.
-Smaller ships are slightly more maneuverable, larger ships slightly less.
==INSTALLATION==
1. Install the stock version of Bridge Commander either from your original disc or from the newly released GOG version.
2. If you use the GOG version, skip to step 4.
3. If you are using the original disc, Install the 1.1 patch available here: Moddb.com.
4. Go to your Bridge Commander installation directory and DELETE the "data", "scripts", and "sfx" folders.
5. Copy the contents of the "Bridge_Commander_Remastered" zip folder into your Bridge Commander installation directory.
6. Download the universal 4GB Address Aware Patch here: Ntcore.com
7. Run the 4GB Patch file, and select the stbc.exe in your Bridge Commander installation location to apply the patch.
8. Run the game.
9. If your desktop supports 1920x1080 resolution, the game will start with that display setting automatically. If not, editing of "options.cfg" with Notepad++ is required to manually adjust the resolution to your preference. 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 are alternative supported resolutions.

==KNOWN ISSUES==
* During story missions, the Sovereign's Quantum torpedoes may become silent after completing one mission and moving to the next. If selecting a mission from the "Mission Select" feature on the main menu, the sound returns.
* Due to the game's old engine, Quick Battle missions with very large numbers of ships can cause game errors and crashes. Limiting Quick Battles to 20 ships or less is ideal, but the number varies greatly depending on what ships are selected.
* RAM usage can be high for the old game engine. It is HIGHLY recommended to make sure you install the 4GB address aware patch to the .exe (make a backup first!) if you have frequent crashes mid-game. This patch is universal and works for many old games. Get it here: Ntcore.com
* A few Federation ships do not yet have the correct hull IDs.

1920x1080 does indeed work. If it's not working, there are other issues at play on your install.

First I wanted to thank you for making this absolutely beautiful mod. This is one of my favorite games of all time.
I'm having a few problems though.
I started a new playthrough with version 1.1 and It works very well up to a certain point.
At E6M2 I get an error and crash to desktop. An MSDOS prompt window calling itself "python debug console" pops up and says something about "Outdated Foundation" and then a list of files that appear affected. I've tried doing a clean installation but I can't load that mission. It instantly crashes every time, which is a shame. Thats a really fun mission. I can send you a screenshot of the error window if you want.
Also, there seems to be an issue with the power system in game. Normally when you run out of Main Battery or Reserve Power the shields and weapons go offline. But in this mod nothing happens, so power consumption doesnt really mean anything in the mod.
Lastly, the Sovereigns torpedoes look like they need some work. The photons look like simple little orange Super Mario fireballs and not like the nice looking photons on the Galaxy class. And the quantums look too big.
Also, It seems like you have unlimited quantums, although I cant tell because there is no counter for them in the mod.
I like how you can fire both photons and quantums at the same time, but maybe they should be switchable or a counter added. According to the story you only have a small supply of quantums up until late in the campaign.
Also maybe the torpedoes should move just a wee bit slower

I've the same problems with the mission at E6M2.
Every Time i'll leave savoy station and the next mission starts it will crash to a python debug console.
there is something about a file of the peregrine that has problems with some specular data.
I hope you can fix that soon.

Ya, that's a bug I've recently been made aware of. It's a simple missing quotation mark around one particular word in one file, but it leads to a crash. I'll upload a patch very soon.

But i have a problem. I can`t change the screen resolution to 1280x1024. 1920x1080 and 1600x1200 are working.

I have some issues with your mod. You see, I can not run it in full screen mode. Everytime I change the value in there options.cfg file, the game crashes imedietly after being launched. It is also appearently only starting when the screen resolution is 1600x1200. I know you put much work into this, and if there is a way to help you in any way to find the error I will do so. So, if you need any other information or file values, I will gladly tell you what you need to know. Thank you in advance.

This is great work! It's working very well. Can this be used with some of the other files, like the 4K videos for example? And how about compatiblity with other mods in general?

Unfortunately there are some resolution issues, and full-screen does not work at all.
My desktop resolution is 1440p, and if I try to edit either the Resolution values or the Fullscreen value in the options.cfg, the game won't launch. If I try to edit the resolution at all, it won't launch. Even if I keep it at 1080p and try to make it fullscreen, it won't launch.
Currently, it's playable, but only in a 1080p section on the top-left of the screen.

I am running it in 1920x1080 by changing my screen resolution. I save the Sovereign and warp out to Versuvi but stbc.exe always stops working after the Loading prompt. I'm running in -TestMode. This is a clean install on 1.1. Any ideas how to debug the issue?

I'm having an issue with this mod in SP. I get to E2M2 where you need to disable the Krayvis. I do so, but the scripting seems to be broken as nothing happens. Kravysi will keep firing even though warp engines are disabled. I've even gone as far as disabling the warp core completely and then tractor beaming it, but nothing progresses. This is basically mission breaking.
I'm running the latest version of Remastered on the GOG version of STBC. I have installed the 4GB patch.
I'm having the exact same problem. I've replayed the mission half a dozen times I've disabled the warp engines, impulse engines... warp core... No progression. I believe the Ferengi Captain is supposed t hail me and the Cardassians return... nothing. I'm also running the latest patched version. Anybody have a fix?
Hi there like others have mentioned i'm getting a crash to desktop early in the game. Not long after Picard leaves the bridge, transfers to the Klingon vessel. Then the warbirds fight and as soon as I've completed that. it's trying to load in the level data and the crash occurs there. I'm using windows 10 with latest drivers. The installer was GOG version 1.1.

For me E2M1 crashes to desktop right at the start after the first officer says "colossal ship"

Lots of failures. Cant select Quantum Torpedos with the Sovereign. Some shows in the Game not working. Game crashes often also with the patch. Nice Mod but it needs a lot of work.
The Sovereign's Quantum torpedoes are set as a pulse weapon (default Middle Click) so that you can fire Photons and Quantums at the same time.
As for "Some shows in the Game not working", I don't know what you mean by this.

The mod seems to stop working after a few runs of STBC and it's driving me crazy. I'm using the GOG version. After a couple of runs of the game, I can no longer see the extra ships in the Quick Battle screen. If I completely wipe the game folder and reinstall everything, it works for awhile, then breaks again. I'm not seeing any files being modified in the game directory, so I'm really at a loss as to what's going on here. Any ideas?

i tryed to edit the options for my resolution and now the game doesn't work anymore and i deleted everything and reinstalled everything and i didn't touch the Options this time and the game still doesn't work.

Hello, unsure if this is a known issue or not or whether there is a work around but i'm having issues on E3M4. Arriving at Belaruz i get a CMD prompt popup citing outdated foundation and the option to resume or abort, choosing resume works fine and continues the mission but after driving off Matan and following the klingons to Belaruz 2 the game crashes the second i enter warp. I have applied the 4GB patch but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The ships seem unbalanced I had a quick battles between a ktinga and the reliant and the ktinga destroyed the reliant this would never happen in star trek. Is there a way to use stock ship definitions as it seems way off.
