I've been having a lot of fun with this mod, but these ACOCK-tier random events are flat out unfun. Randomly losing stats, gold, items or even equipment add nothing to the game and encourage savescumming to try and avoid some of the worse consequences when a negative event fires/triggers.

You can't, a lot of stuff won't work without it anyway. Launch with the packaged WSE files and you shouldn't get those warnings. I've actually had those pop-up despite running it via WSE, so if that's your issue then just restart the game since WSE clearly didn't launch correctly.

Same issue here with the merchant quest. I'm in some kind of Warband equivalent of the backrooms. It's just the overworld/map texture on the ground and a clone of myself who thinks he's my steward. Very weird.

What gives with the dungeon chests randomly having their locks jammed? RNG that I just get nothing for my trouble? What dictates the chance of an unsuccessful lock forcing and is there some way to pick the lock instead? I noticed in the conversation.txt file that there's a dialogue line indicating you can pick the lock instead, but I haven't seen an option for it in-game.

If you're having a lot of crashes, I strongly suggest forcing single threading in the advanced options of the launch menu. Game will run a bit slower on weaker multi-core CPU's (like my old AMD octo-core) but I've not had any more bloody runtime errors since.

Yeah, if a unit moves an MG bunker the game crashes. Anybody know how to remove them from the game?

Having trouble launching this as the file is on E:/ not C:/ so I have to manually select the location every single time, not to mention crashing at the end of the turn. Happened out of the blue and still occurs after a fresh Napoleon total war install and a fresh mod install.
