I am new here, i found many files to download ( some are obsolete, others are not ), i want to benefit from the stabilization offered by the mod and all its updated mini mods, which ones should i get ? and is there a particular order to install them ?

Congratulations for releasing version 1.0, i am downloading it right now, but i was quite shocked when seeing Thranduil's new unit on foot, i don't mean they are weak, but now the elven king is very vulnerable to cavalry charges, whilst i really enjoyed him in 0.52, i mean i remember i didn't even use other cavalry than Thranduil's unit, i felt he got that advantage of the elf-king, he could move swiftly and rapidly across the battlefield and do some good flanking, he could be a challenge to the shadow of mordor nazguls, now they will crush him beneath their hooves :/, sorry i don't mean to be negative, but i hope you might consider changing that in further releases.

i actually like that idea, i mean we could give the ring to thorin, and he will get greedy, or we can give it to bilbo and make buildings production even better, he will get leadership for units around him, he will be able to use his ring to hide ( for a long time ). I imagine it would be like lorien, with a dark galadriel that is good with damage but debuffs her allies, or blessed galadriel who is the best support hero.
another thing that i can't really get is thorin's invulnerability ability, i mean wasn't that supposed to be for Galadriel's nenya ? and she got it because she is a support hero, but thorin is already tank & hero killer aspect + new support things. I guess it would be better for thorin to get a new ability fit for the dwarven king, what about a summon, he will summon the leaders of the seven dwarf families ( it will be a temporary summon, with 6 dwarf lords including dain, all level 10 )

thank you, i just downloaded version 0.5 ( along with 0.52 patch), i am playing thranduil's realm. and i have to say it is really amazing ! but sadly the elven units don't look like the ones from the hobbit, but i was happy to find an updated avatar for thranduil :)
i also remember that i killed khamul, and two other nazguls in one single battle, and it resulted in destruction of shadow of mordor faction, is it meant to be that way or just a bug ? cuz i only had like 6 settlements, and didn't even start cleansing south mirkwood.
Another anoying thing that happened, is that after seeking alliance with imladris, i was given a mission to do diplomacy with lorien, when i clicked on lorien, my diplomat took road through moria, but when i reached moria, he was blocked and had to move north, and by the time he could cross the misty mountains, the mission was over, wouldn't it be nice to let people pass from moria ?
Anyway, i liked the mod very much, well done dear, and continue the good work

well, no one knows since it isn't released yet, but i would presume maybe because Rivendell unlike the woodland elves got some good cavalry, there might be an elite cav unit ( like Glorfiendel wind riders ), or maybe a special noldor infantry, it would likely be focused more on heavy armored melee unlike lorien whose focus is on archers.

Yes they have the cunning of Mithrandir, the evil of Galadriel, and the wisdom of Sauron :)

Hahahahaha, but seriously who will eat meat directly after a long day of fasting, i prefer dates and some cold refreshing milk, and lots of water, after a while, then i can eat a much heavier meal :)

In fact, i replayed today many matches, and i had no single crush, i played with lorien, mordor ... I don't know what caused the earlier crushes, because they were frustrating, would it have anything to do with disk space ? because my hdd is now 20 Gb lighter

After making the last update, the game crashes after a while ( 10 minutes maybe ), i don't understand why, i noticed it 3 times, i was playing lorien elves against dwarves, i changed the maps, but still the same problem, do you have any idea about this ?

But that would be lore perfect, i mean just imagine if the servants of sauron captured gollum ( with the ring ), sauron will immediatly be summoned to his ring, he has nothing more important in mind rather than his ring, and he is the lord of the rings, so giving him that advantage is a must be in the game, also in multiplayer, you can just desactivate the ring system to play fair with no op heroes.

If you have the required money, i would advice you to buy a desk gamer computer, i said gamer because they will have nvdia or AMT, not intel, believe me intel graphic card is going to give you hell in some games, unless it is extremly powerfull ( 4 GB or more ) whilst a 1 Gb nvdia will be much better. You can buy a laptop gamer, but the desk comes more handy and more powerful, simply because it was designed to be bigger and better :)

DieWalkure, i would shake your hands if i were standing right to you now :D , i never watched a single episode, there have been some 3-4 minutes scenes from youtube, but whenever i think: they say it is a good fantasy, i should watch it, but always i figure out a way to escape from it. I just don't understand why ??? hahahaha

Well thanks for the information, but there must be a missunderstanding, the thing i would like to know, is it possible to have all the heroes controlled by me ? because i said the allied AI heroes just start running and stop into there spawning location ( the place where you initialise the AI players ), i didnt try the human custom hero by the way, somehow i tought he would be useless against many hordes, but i did try a snow troll, and we was generally **** against the goblins, but he got litteraly screwed by the first cave troll he met.

First of all, may you journey be blessed :)
Secondly, i just had some taste of the path of Edain mission map, and i must say it really seems great, the only problem, is that since i can control only one custom hero, it is really hard to overcome the enemy waves. Even if i chose allied heroes, they just walk to their spawning places and stand still, and some were killed while they were moving. Anyway, i found out the only specialisation that could go much further is the elf ranger, well he could kill a troll, without suffering damage ( i hit&run;), whilst all the other heroes races would die very fast, even the dwarves with the resistance passive skill. So i am to understand that there is a multiplayer choice, but since my connexion isn't good i won't be able to play until summer, when i have access to wifi, so the point is: Is there another way to overcome the enemy hordes without playing multiplayer ?

I am not trying to kill your hope my dear, but definetly these factions won't be released "soon" (well angmar might, since it is the next faction to be released) but the two others ( imladris and misty mountains ), will take a good amount of time to be worked, and hopefully perfected.

that problem i guess was in the first bfme 2 vanilla game, try having latest patch installed for it, hopefully it fixes that problem

This mod got a new unit upgrading system, you have to take the units near the forge ( armor upgrades building ), you will notice a circle around the building when you select it, in order to upgrade units with new weapons/armor, they must be inside the circle. ;)

I can't confirm anything, but since Angmar is the next faction to be released, it would be safe to presume, that some maps with angmar will be added, and when you speak of Angmar you speak of their main enemy Arnor, wich leads to more Arnorien maps :)

I am going to tell you a hint that always works, use siege units like catapults, ents and trolls, and choose bombard area ( where the battalion with the ring is situated ), try having multiple siege units bombarding at the same time, and then you will kill the entire enemy battalion ( because siege units damage allied units as well, wich is very logic of course ), move swiftly and claim the ring with your units :) Hope you like it .
PS: you can also do this to a human ally, but that would be considered rude, unless your human ally is used to joking hahaha

Well, i guess the wise solution would be to give sauron and anti-hero spell, i mean this is what is disturbing people, for the archers you can send his troops to aid him, but against hero killers it is true that if aragorn made it to him he will kill him very fast if you didnt notice him, and since all hero killers are fast and agile he will do the hit and run tactic and he will have his army attacking your orcs to distract you as well. I remember sauron has an ability that boosts his damage and speed greatly ( when activated he becomes the strongest unit in game ), i guess that spell should give more speed , resistance and damage, and specially to heroes, so it would be wise to preserve that spell until a hero killer comes crawling to sauron then you use it, and if the hero killer dont leave , he will die in 3-4 hits because they dont have much HP. And this would lore perfect since sauron used his ring to kill gil-galad and Ealendril, but he was killed by Isildur ( supposed a hero-killer )

is this the final version of the mod, or will it be updated in the future ? i mean with realistic cities ( like actually having imladris looking elvish ... and many other cities ), also some modules from the hobbit would be extremly helpful.
And i noticed, there is no passage in the misty moutains, that should be fixed later, if not you will always pass from enely territory to get to the other side.
But overall the mod is really very great, i dont know but i like its system more than other middle earth mods of mount and blade warband ( i don't mean to be rude to the other mods, but i am just expressing what i liked, and i really found this one more enjoyable. keep the good work :)

Somehow it is true, but if you think of it mordor can make almost a wall of cheap towers, they will keep bombarding the enemy with fire. But agree that if a stealthed siege machine ( specially the dwarven goat ballisats ) made it into your camp, it will run havoc before beying destroyed. But anyway as evil try always to be the agressive one, let the enemy worry more about defending, specially the orc rush with mordor + some nazguls to debuff the enemy, that is really a strong strategy ( although it might not be very efficient against rohan )

I suggested earlier to lower the zoom out, because i notided when i zoom in, the game works perfectly ( even if i had a 1300 cp army ). but when i zoom out the game begins to slow as much as i zoom out.

The mod is absolutely amazing, very good work indeed, well i was going to mention some of these bugs myself, but you already mentioned the ones with dwarves, i will just talk about my favorite faction the elves:
well i really like the elves, and i definetly feel that galadriel is now a powerful being, i mean now i am proud to play as her in your mod, and her dark side is just amazing, although in some of her abilities she used the voice of gandalf the white ( like her level 5 light ability, she uses the line of gandalf: you have no place in this word), also there was three buildings called barracks, i think it would be better if they were provided with more information, and for now that's all, i think every thing else was good, and i love the idea how we can only upgrade the units with armor and weapons only if they were near to the upgrade building ( forge...).

Actually i never noticed that , it is very interesting indeed.
And yes what i liked about her is her cold yet beautiful aspect, somehow i have a deep profound love for this kind of women, they seem dangerous and not to be joked with, but still they look charming and appealing the eye.
