This is one of the greatest strategy games I've ever played. I have all the other C&C:s, including all the bonus disks.

I like how I can modify the AI to my playing style, as I like to build a huge base and just defend it against hordes of enemies. Handicaps are nice, now I can have massive battles without a sure loss. The lack of walls is annoying, but there are mods to fix this problem.

One big thing is missing, compared to earlier versions skirmish games; No superweapons mode. And thats what is currently ruining this game's skirmish mode. Anyone know a mod that can disable superweapons? I can't play against 7 enemies, if they all use superweapons on my base, which I've built with great care and designed it from scratch to look nice and real.

This mod is great, and I think its not unbalanced.

Most of you say, no-one ever plays on the vikings, funnily enough they have won 50% of the games that I have played. And I have played many. Most join knights? No they don't. This has just been on that server you have played on. Often the teams are well balanced. And knights arent good, they are really easy to kill with a viking with dualwield or a quick pirate, if you know how to play.

And, you said that you will disable picking up the chest on your team's area. DONT DO THIS, PLEASE! It would suck. Badly. Lol, youd had to change team just to move the goddamn chest out of your way or away from danger.

Can't wait for more classes.

This is that kind of mod Ive been looking for ever. Its really fun to play this on lan with friends. Some of the maps didn't work really well tought, but that doesn't matter.

The lives system was kinda buggy, I had 9 lives and my friends had 4 when we started a game with lives. No matter if I changed the amount of lives, still that way.

Id like some Co-op defence maps. You know, like 100 antlions / zombies attacking a small base / a house in the desert / in the forest. And some NPC soldiers and turrets to defend too. There was one map like this, but it had like 1 antlion coming in per minute, which died in few seconds. And it wasn't defence, it was capture the supplies. Fun anyways.

I couldn't get the console work with this mod. Don't know why, it works on all the other mods.

Best map we have played now is oc_antlion_attack. Downloaded it from the forums, can't remember who made it. Its great, thought it needs more NPC turrets or NPCS. Still better than any map on this mod.

Anyways, I rate the mod 10/10.

This mod is pretty good, but really buggy. But I like it. It just gets annoying that you have to restart really often.

Just played this about a hour ago. This is one of the best RTS games I have ever played. Shame that multiplayer doesn't work on XP... This was really fun to play against friends.

In your gameplay video, I noticed few things. I know its old video, but will the mirage tanks shoot same way in the final release that they did in the video? They shot like normal tanks? Or then I just didn't look close enough.

And, what is the side you are fightning against in the video? Civilians?

Btw, the pillboxes look pretty big, don't they?

Whats the matter? Too violent? Too "unreal"?
If you ask my opinion, leave it that way. The only thing I don't like about infantry is that AI doesn't use them enough. They attack in groups of 3-5. They should attack in groups of 10-15.

2) Engineers can capture only enemy buildings. So civilian tech buildings is no more need. They disappear because they destroy themselfs. We did this and it's not a bug.
3) AI sell everything... It can be only on maps where is no waypoints.

1. Well, now when I think about it, it would.
2. There were oil derricks in YR, and you can capture oil derricks in the campaing, so why not include this in skirmirsh? Also other tech buildings would have been great.
3. Well, it happens on your mod's map, but this is totally random. One time it works, other time it doesn't.

Oh, well, just do it the way you want it. Its your mod. And its damn good. I'll try playing against my friends tomorrow...

In my opinion, don't add any (well few wouldn't matter) new units. I'd just like to have normal Yuri's Revenge converted in generals engine and 3d. Btw, if i understand right you are going to make mirage tanks only stealth? So the tree thingy didn't work?

And about map editing, how I can put an oil derrick in to my map? I have tried different ways, but it allways disappears in game. And I also noticed that sometimes yuri decides to sell everything and soviet doesn't do anything else than consruction vehicles. ( Even in your maps. ) I play on hard difficulty.

And also, are you going to make naval units availabe in skirmirsh or multiplayer? It would be hard, if not, impossible, so no? I haven't seen any mods with working naval yards.

And do you have any idea whe will come the version wich includes allies?

Is it an unfixable thing that attack dogs and brutes can garrison buildings? Or is it meant to be so? And if you but a V3 in to a tank bunker, it becomes a great long range defence. Could say that it becomes too good. (And looks weird.. Dunno if this is a bug or meant to be.)

AI doesn't build superweapons? It would bring attleast some challenge. AI never build flak cannons? Attleast I haven't seen any. Not sure about this thougt.

Main thing: I hope you release the patch soon. Its hard to play against those unstoppable V3 missiles.

This mod is really good. The campaing was pretty easy, but it was fun too. This is way better than normal generals or the other mods.

Few complaints (or something...) :
I believe that all of these have been mentioned already, but... And I know its a beta version.

Soviets
1. The V3 is way too good. The range is too long, and the V3 can't be shot using air defence. "Gattlings can take out V3 missiles now." <- That fixes it in "soviet vs yuri" game, but make the soviet air defence shoot V3 missiles too.
2. Siege Choppers are also too good. They always hit (except infantry, when using cannon) so in large groups they are impossible to destroy.
3. Sentry guns could be a little better. Not much, but a little.
4. Sentry guns and flak cannons could "search for targets" like in normal Generals. If you know what I mean...
5. Why flack track shoots using machine gun? It should be flak.
6. Isn't soviet tank "apocalipse" called "apocalypse" in YR?
7. Terror drones should stop the tank once they hit it. (Im not sure if they do..)
8. The planes that boris can call in can be controlled like normal aircraft. If you select them before they shoot, you can fly around with them and shoot somewhere else or even multiple targets.

Yuri
1. Master minds, yuri clones and psychic towers can't hit moving targets, which makes them pretty useless in multiplayer, because everyone who is intelligent enough will not stop moving when yuri comes in their way.
2. Make Yuri Prime worth something. Just going over water isn't enough.
3. Virus can destroy buildings. It shouldn't? Its annoying when bots have 10 snipers shooting at my tesla coils and destroy them that way.

Other
1. Units have too large field of view.
2. Why won't you use normal countries that were in YR ? No America on the list for example? Or Irag (Yugoslavia?).
3. THIS MOD ROCKS. Shame that it doesn't have an english website except this.

There are, places, called shops. If you don't have any shops that sell C&C Generals near you, go and order it from the internet.

How is the next version/patch coming along? I really want to get rid of those annoying V3 attacks. And it would be great if you could fix the viruses, they tend to shoot down buildings.

This might have been asked many times before, but will there be any walls in this mod ? No? Is it even possible to do on generals engine?
