Genies of the Zone company

Welcome! We are the Genies of the Zone, a group dedicated to translating Eastern-made mods for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series into English. The team consists of 7 different individuals who all have their own skills and excel in different areas related to our work.

Our creations, which include translations for projects such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Last Day, Dead Air, and Spatial Anomaly, are created with quality, cooperation, and support for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fanbase in mind, and we try to facilitate the connection between the English-speaking and the Russian-speaking parts of the community.

Our projects consist of two stages: the actual translation stage—which is where the project gets translated from Russian—and the revision stage, which is where all translated content is brought up to a respectable English standard.

We primarily translate to American English, so individuals that speak either Russian or English (or both!) are welcome to assist the group in developing its translations at any time.

Добро пожаловать! Мы — Genies of the Zone, группа, занимающаяся переводами проектов серии S.T.A.L.K.E.R. на английский язык. Команда состоит из 7 человек со своими особенностями и навыками в областях, связанных с нашей работой.

Наши творения, которые включают в себя переводы для таких проектов, как S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Last Day, Dead Air и Пространственная аномалия, создаются с учетом качества, сотрудничества и поддержки сообщества S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Мы также стараемся поддерживать отношения между русскоговорящей и англоговорящей частями сообщества.

Наши проекты проходят два этапа: сам этап для перевода, когда проект переводится с русского языка, и этап проверки, где все тексты дорабатываются до достойного качества.

Сами переводы прежде всего основываются на американском английском, потому мы всегда будем рады принять помощь людей, знающих русский или английский (или оба!).
