When units enter the gaszone, many of them will put on gas masks, some of them will be too slow on putting it on and suffocate.
Even when they are knocked out, they will still suffocate and die.
If you manually unequip your fake gas mask, and you run around in the gaszone like your superman, it would say "foolishly took off gas mask", followed by "*choking*" until you die of suffocation.
What isn't shown:
If a unit is shot/blown up/cut/punched by another unit, there is a random chance his/her gas mask will be detached, and the unit will run around for 1.5 seconds until it dies of suffocation(if its in the gaszone), if its not in the gaszone, then it won't die when the gas mask is detached.
If you equip a helmet/cap that has a bone named "gas_mask" in it's respective mdl file, the gaszone radius will have no effect on you at all, and you won't be able to equip a fake gas mask from the panel menu.
If a unit is tagged "hero" then the gaszone won't kill them either.
After some time of not overlapping the gaszone, units who had automatically equipped a fake gas mask will unequip it after 32 or something seconds. If they do overlap the gaszone within those seconds, then the unequip function will be restarted.
Models are placeholders until I can get permission to use. Or export models of my own.
So, you're adding a ton of cool and realistic features to the game, but at the same time you're going with this slightly weird arcade, MLG-style aesthetic ? This i still can't understand. Great job though, keep up the good work. Also, is there an actual page for this mod, or are you just showing the development process here ?
