Nope, pay attention to the dialog. You will be let into the camp after Tolik puts in a word for you. I recommend using the search function on discord for these kinds of questions.

Extract it where you want. From the README.txt: 'The mod is standalone. Base game is not required. Use "Radiophobia 3 Launcher.bat" to start the game' (this BAT file stands inside the extracted 'Radiophobia-3-BETA-1.07a' directory). That's all.

Something you should fix (eventually it's not anything major, more like a QoL (Quality of Life) thingy) wiping your mask with the wipe mask key shouldn't have the equip sound play when it's done animating to clear the rain droplets from the visor; you can't really "equip" the unequipped stance, it's not like it's a thing to equip. I get that the coding side might be to have the player "equip nothing", and play the equip sound, but it's not gelling with my immersion (not ruining it, but the sound is pulling me out, when I want to pull myself in the game).

One fairly major QoL fix you should consider is to make the cursor size independent from the texture detail slider, figured my constant performance hiccups are because I was trying to play at higher levels (the default setting (3 I think) was fine until like 30 mins into playing in Cordon where it caused my system to hang for a good few seconds; was trying to play with a setting of zero and had a 75-80% of a hiccup/hang every few moments (usually in combat, which makes melee mutants practical death machines if my system hung when they started hitting me, as their hits would still register during the hiccup and I'd have to contend with like 3-4 hits from a cat from hitting me during the hang).

A cursor that's half the size of a Tic-Tac isn't great.

Deleted this mod and installed AA 2.1, leagues better, and without the random slowdowns also (which might be because the loads on my dual-core APU (Ryzen 3 3250U) aren't great for performance when I would like a stable fps (it hovered around 40-50, but would crater to like 15 randomly; sometimes it would be stable for hours, sometimes I would just get 5-20 slowdowns (one after another) in like 5-10 mins with no apparent reason).

Can play AA 2.1 on max settings with Full Dynamic Lighting (though not all the sliders in advanced are full, some not even half full) with very little (if any) of the odd performance stuff Radiophobia 3 gave me, which I suspect were the HD models and the increased textures causing something. It could be the 4gb ram patch that's letting my system run smoothly as well with AA 2.1 (I have 16gbs, 14 available (2 reserved by the OS); overkill for my laptop for sure, I simply wanted the stock 4gbs of ram to not be a future issue so I replaced the one sdram stick with 2 8 gb sticks)

Comes with it's own installer, though it needs ShoC to be installed for the installer to install the mod over the game files: just install ShoC, then run the installer (after extracting the folder to the desktop and point the installer to ShoC's folder), then once it's done (with the some of the settings you chose, I prefer the FOV at 83 (there isn't an 85, at least I don't think) it doesn't expose the ends of the buttstock of an abakan when looking down for instance (it doesn't "have" one per say, the first person model doesn't show it, so you can see the ground through it and your arm), or the ends of arms with an ak74 while also looking downward).

I'm trying to play this game but noticing strange things like just walking in to the first camp (which I'm supposed to be able to go into from what I understand - to talk to Wolf) the guards are immediately hostile and will shoot me for stepping foot. In fact every person or settlement I've come across is immediately hostile. I don't know if the other ones are supposed to be but I watched a couple mins of a walkthrough of someone playing the base game and I know you're supposed to be able to walk unimpeded in that first camp.

Also the game is prompting me to use my flashblight or binoculars but when I press the relevant buttons to bring them up nothing happens. Idk if this is a bug or intentional? I'm playing on the 3rd highest difficulty if that matters - the one above stalker - veteran I think.

It's not a bug, you just need to revive that guy by that small bridge after the helo has gone; iirc in vanilla he says that he'll tell everyone back at camp about how you helped him, this mod just goes a step further and actually tie the game mechanics to the spoken dialogue.

Also if the crates didn't spawn in the trailer by that guy restart, one of them has a headlamp; persisted till Garbage without one because those crates either didn't spawn, or were already broken and the loot clipped under the trailer (it happened again after a restart; but managed to break open the box that had it and low crouch on the outside to look into the floor of the trailer and get the headlamp).

Also, iirc Sid gives you binos, after turning in the artifact he wants you to find; and the hotkey for them is "B" for whatever reason.

R3 is a standalone mod based on SoC. If you want to play CS modded look for LFO.

Serious issue. Cant finish the starting quest for Sidorovich. The helicopter never goes away and wipes everyone out. I cant progress the story.
