Advanced script for a kind of smooth slow motion (bullet time) in Half-Life.
You can choose from two versions: First one toggles slow motion on and off by pressing a key, second one turns slow motion on while holding the key and turns it off while releasing the key. As default it also changes mouse sensitivity, muffles surrounding sounds a bit and plays the sound of a deep heartbeat while being in slow motion. (But you can simply change what you want.)
More information about installation etc. included with the files.
Enjoy :) And please leave a comment if you find this any useful :)
( The script is also written in a way that you can use and overlap it in any manner possible with my other scripts (for smooth zoom, mouse wheel zoom and holstering weapon). Because normally if two or more simple scripts manipulate the same parameters, you can't just simply mess them together and overlap them without malfunction. But if you will be using more of those scripts together everything will be just fine. )
Thanks Vankulas, this is a fun script, one small problem I had to figure out was binding a key, in your script you use angle brackets like this "bind <...>" well I tried :) like this "bind <b>" and no go, it works without the angle brackets like this "bind b" I am getting a bit daft in my old age.
Will be having a little enjoyment with this.
Edit. Having trouble with the .mp3, it is not loading, although the game volume changes.
Yes, you have to bind keys in a form: "bind key blahblah" without any brackets. (Those were meant just for clarity.)
And sorry, but I don't have a clue why mp3 file isn't loading. Commands "mp3 play blahblah" and "mp3 stop blahblah" used in the script should work. (At least in last Steam version of Half-Life it works fine.) ... Does it write you any error in a console when you turn the script on and off?
