Not full physX. I had to turn the settings a lot, but better than nothing:) Tested rig: Amd phenom x6 1090t, 4gb ram 1066mhz and radeon hd 7870

it seems it was removed from the steam store.. I hope this is temporary, but its been like this for a about 8 months..
Man, if only they focused a bit more on the AI and resource management this would have been an amazing game...but, alas, appearantly looks mean more than actually having a brain. sorry its just that this game has a good story and everything but the AI was a little on the poor side and the resource management was horrible for everyone and especially those trying to record gameplay for a walkthrough.
Yeah, my computer meets minimum requirements for this, yet even on the lowest settings, it has horrible lag, had to enable motion blur so my FPS doesn't drop to 1 frame every 2 seconds while turning. Hell, Metro 2033 runs better, and I don't meet all of the minimum requirements for that. To top it off, I consistently suffer from the head bobbing glitch. From what I managed to play through, good game, good idea, good story, but it *is* desperate need of a better, or more optimized engine. Sad that we won't get it.
And the patch was a joke. It fixed a few small bugs, but just added more content, icicles off everything. Yet another fps killer that the game doesn't need.
The thing is that Cryostasis installs without a hitch, the menu is fine, and has a respectable engine for its looks. On the other hand the graphics settings just say "Do you want the game to look like crap and lag or look amazing and lag?" It's a good game, it just needed a little bit more resource management.
lol yeah. Reducing graphics doesn´t seem to fix the lag at all.
