In Conundrum players will play as Cody Pieterson, a 24 year old woman from the near future, who has become trapped inside a library, existing outside of the space-time continuum. Through a combination of solving puzzles, to earn books that need to be returned to their correct shelf location, and piecing together then inputting codes, players will work their way to the top floor of the library to escape. Along the way, they will encounter several historical figures, some good, some evil, with many of them having disappeared mysteriously, ending up in the library. Having progressed through the initial levels, players will come face-to-face with the epitome of evil - Rasputin, the Russian monk who just wouldn't die. From this point onwards, play also becomes a race between Cody and Rasputin, with the monk attempting to trap Cody in the library forever, and Cody ultimately trying to prevent Rasputin from escaping and seeking revenge on the world.
Very recently, one of our core members, our 2D Artist, Diego, informed us, that his time to work on the project, would be next to nil. This event, although not helpful project-wise, has been only a minor disruption, as we have already hired a replacement - Felisia. We also put out an advert for a full-time Programmer, as our idea of all pitching-in to do the Programming, with Playmaker's help, had not worked out - a full time Programmer was found, in the form of our new Programmer, Mark. Here's a list of what else has been accomplished since the start of October.
Progress has been slower than we would have liked, during October, as many of our team, were caught up with other commitments. However, production will resume top speed this month. Keep a look out for more game updates next month.
