This Is Simply Just A Modified User.ltx With Some Personal Touch To Sun Lighting Overhaul Intended To Be Used With Piknik Reshade But Its All combined For You !
Kudos SEV3RE, really glad to see you'd followed my piknik/bloom suggestions; good shout!
From the screens, skies look still slightly on the blown side – did you check if the bloom fix actually applied and made a difference? Will test myself soon. thx
also, how is it changing weather exactly? Tried Michiko's but getting seriously ugly distant horizons in storms and some other conditions as compared to vanilla.
okay im gonna see what i can do about the sky ,, ! and re apply the bloom fix.. thx ramsey because of you i could make this... im going to try and fix this issue ,,, and the weather is in gamedata you can remove it in the config files ... and apply other peoples weather mods or remove it for default vanilla weather texturing
Definitely an improvement in terms of sky bloom, but even though it's no longer so painful to look at, it's still mostly blown to white. Weird to see during a storm/rain.
Sorry to pile on, but one of the other things I noticed is over-dark interiors. For instance, walking into huts in the CS base on a clear day results in pitch black corners. It's a bit.. overdramatic. The same applies to exteriors during stormy/rainy weathers: The sky is bright, the ground way too dark.
I initially adjusted lowlum to 0.25, but that made things too visible at night. I found a good balance for myself by disabling levelsplus.fx, playing with gamma and brightness settings, and increasing hemi lumscale to 1. However, at that point it feels like I'm stepping away from your settings lol. Nonetheless, thank you for the base. I've tweaked it to my liking and am fairly happy now.
yeah as basics i just released this so people can tweak it to their liking and so on but thank you for your feed back and support it is much appreciated !
can't get it to work unfortunately, get a crash every time.
but that said, I've already been using your simple reshade with piknik so no harm done, will come back to manual installation
Hi SEV3RE, a quick question: with your weather files, were you modifying any of the wind velocity values?
I'm using arszi's brilliant radiation overhaul which relies on wind velocity from the weather presets so quite important to know whether you were modifying those at all in yours!
Thanks, still using your simple simplicity with piknic and never looked back - a perfect combo.

Pretty nice, but the sky is pretty blown out, both on my end and in your screenshots.

I Did Some Tweaks Here And There
Skies Should Be Less Over Blown with the reshade enabled
Before Launching Use The Game Launcher And Make Sure You Ticked The 'Delete Shader Cache' Otherwise You Get Overly Blown Sky Shaders
Leave Me Some Feed Back
if its not right i'll see if i can manage it with something else.

What texture mod are you using with the second to last image 'without reshade and my modifide user.ltx'?
