Part 1
In this tutorial we create a simple pine tree and export it out to be used inside of Unreal Development Kit. Next tutorial I will show you how to use the model in the UDK.
Part 2
In this part 2 of the SpeedTree to Unreal Development Kit tutorial. I show you a few things that I found out about with the UDK. I show you how to make the materials for SpeedTree and how to apply them and use them in the UDK.
Part 3
In part 3 of my SpeedTree tutorial I show you how to add collisions to your SpeedTree Model. So when you use it in the unreal development kit. You will collide with your tree.
Part 4
In this tutorial we will learn how to use the hand drawing feature in Speed Tree. This is a pretty interesting feature it allows you to have a much finer control over how your tree will look.

This is just the tutorial I was hoping for cos SpeedTree was starting to confuse me a little lol! I'm really looking forward to your next installment Raven! Thanks a million for this dude! Great work and it's much appreciated! :)
Thanks Orion :). I have alot of tutorials on my youtube channel. I am adding them all to moddb tutorials page. Just waiting for an admin to approve the rest of them.
That's awesome! Good on ya!
It's a shame I don't have any control over media authorization (I can only auth mods atm) because I'd love to help speed the process up a little for ya. But anyway, I'm sure it won't take too long, maybe just a few hours or so. ;)
Hehe shame you don't :(. But you can still view my youtube page :). It sucks adding all of these tutorials when there's like 20 of them to do. But I am almost done so go me :).
Go You Indeed! lolz. And yea, I've just subscribed to your YouTube Channel too. ;)
Really frustrating to follow. Part 3 would be great inside part 1 to prevent having to repeat steps and you should have done this tutorial at least twice before filming it to prevent stupid mistakes.
All too well it did show how to get it into UDK but this tutorial does feel like your teaching yourself in the videos as well as others. You dont know why the bump makes it darker or why it crashed with lightmass or why you cant use certain lights.
What about billboards and performans? Need more advanced tutorial please. :(
