Alright, so it's time for an update. We've been pretty busy this week, smoothing out a few bugs, getting some new models built and animated, getting some skins done and our coder has been pulling off some amazing stuff, sticky as sticky grenades, and I gotta tell you these things are fun to play with, hit the wall at an angle and they just bounce off, hit it head on and they'll stick to the wall until they explode a few seconds later. Needless to say we had lots of fun playtesting them earlier.
We've got some maps in progress too, but we'll save shots of these till we can run around killing each other in game on them. The good news is we should also have a couple extra weapons included in the first release that we haven't told you about yet, not going to go into too much detail because it depends on whether we have the time to add them before the first release, or we may just be evil and keep them till release 2, who knows ;) but just to show we're not all evil, why not check out a short video of us playtesting earlier today, it shows off most of the weapons that are currently in game and what they do, though the models aren't quite up to date *cough*grenadesviewmodel*cough* buts its still pretty awesome to watch and get a feel for what we are bringing you.

looks awesome, the nailgun looks umm, useless :P, but those grenades look awesome the way they work
LOL, its a boltgun but i'll let you off.. as for being useless... it does some pretty hefty damage, one of my fave weapons, but then I am biased :D
everything looks good, but hire a new animator, seriously.
see, a boltgun, that doesnt make sense, im sure it would leave a hefty bruise tho :P. But yah the gun looks awesome to at the beggining, mod looks nice, ill download it for sure. watching. Now go make more saw type melee weapons plz :P

LOL, I'm currently the only animator, I'm still pretty new at it, so yeah.. don't expect the animations to be mind shatteringly awesome LOL, half of them don't even have anims yet, tbh, I think i'm going to go through and totally redo the boltgun anims, they suck big time, I've learnt some stuff since i did those, as for the feasibility of the boltgun, well, it was originally supposed to be a tool for repairing hols in the hull and stuff, basically driving bolts through metal to patch things up... if you consider a high velocity bolt designed to drive through metal... thats gonna do more than bruise ;) and besides.. its just a cool concept, i mean comeon.. who hasn't fantasised about using a nailgun like a gun eh? anyone...? ??
I did the animations for the CX4 which is the rifle you see with the scope...
mainly I am the one playing with the code and finishing off the guns, we have a few more concepts that I am working on for future updates which should be quite unique but for now we have the main starting blocks to build upon ready in testing
