What was Tumultus? Tumultus Deathmatch began as an experiment, with the sole aim of producing a comminity made mod. The story was set and anyone could produce anything and learn new things as they went along. This was all well and good, and it almost succeeded too. What is Tumultus? The premise is the same, most of the weapons are the same, with a few new surprises ;) The team has shrunk to a few dedicated members working on this mod alone, and everything is getting an overhaul.

Maybe you should environment map the blade, so it's as shiny as the rivets. The butterfly effect on the blade's skin isnt a good sign either.

Hmm i gues i saw this on a Predator film dunno wich but it doesent look so good now. uvw map it a little better :D great work btw it looks cool :P
yeah, thats an early screenie before it got all normal and envmapped, you're right about the butterfly effect on the blade though.. gotta fix that. LOL, and i'll try not to let you all down on the animation for it... ahhh pressure... love it :D
it's looks a bit primitive. Also, it looks a bit off, I don't know. You wouldn't really hold a blade like that idle in front of you liket hat.
thats not actually the idle animation, well, it is, but its a part of it when the blade turns a bit, I'll put up another pic sometime soon of how it looks when idle :)
