Hey guys, this week was a little slow, but we still have a few things to show you.
I am terribly sorry that I was unable to post an update yesterday like planned, but I ended up being away from the house from 6:30 am to about 10:30 pm.
What we have managed this week:
Anyways, so I have worked more on the player code of the game, trying to get a dynamic heartbeat system running, and have finalized the regenerating health for the moment. Also, our concept artist who made the characters you all saw recently has made for us some assault rifle concepts and we are currently trying to determine the visual flare of the weapons and such. Our environment concept artist is going to be offline for a week or so because he is entering a small gears of war contest, and our 3d artist is caught up with school.
What to expect soon:
Well, first off, a website should be launching fairly soon, and, as soon as we are sure about the armor we want. More concept art and I think I will be making a short video demonstrating my dynamic heartbeat system based on damage in a simple UT game. But our environment concept artist will be active again in a few days, and Steffen, the other concept artist, it seems will be quite active over the next few weeks.
