Hello there. I'm just giving an introduction and a bit of an update as to the mods progress.
For those of you that don't know, within the past few days there's been a radical reconstruction of the Resident Evil: Tactics group, and it now has three official persons working on the mod. Because of this, we hope to increase volume of updates and intend to cover more ground over less time than previously achieved. In final, this has resulted in the creation of the modding group "The Scramblers". Wish us luck. Hopefully we'll be working on several mods to come after this one.

At this time, we are in GREAT NEED of a scripter.
The primary update today is that there is now an official script in production for Resident Evil: Tactics. As the script writer, I'd like to say that every once in a while I'll be putting up bits and pieces for members and fans to evaluate. Of course, I will give nothing essential to the story.
While we're on the topic of that, I'd like to clear some things up.
First off, in this modification, the race of B.O.W. (Bio-Organic Weapons), eg. Zombies, Tyrants, Hunters ect. will be playable.
Secondly, there will indeed be cutscenes and a full storyline to this mod. And that said, it will remain canon to the Resident Evil series, while there will still be changes brought to the liking of the RE:T team. As said, however, we need a scripter before we can get deeply into cutscenes and such.
Thirdly, at this time, we cannot say for sure if there will be specific characters (Eg. Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Leon Kennedy) will be included as playable or non-playable characters in the game.
Finally: At this time, there is no official release date set for the mod. However, that said, we are shooting for the release of a demo or beta by September 22. There's no promises there, folks. If this cannot be achieved, we will state that there will be a demo/beta before the end of 2009.
To all our fans and those who're just now looking at this mod, thank you for looking into this mod. We hope your excitement continues to mound as we work toward the release of Resident Evil: Tactics - The Raccoon City Incident.

Yeah, summer's good for that. But it was pwtool's idea, not mine. I suppose we're gonna have to really tighten the loose net that's backing this mod :P
