I think Unreal is the only classic game I never played. Is it worthy it or did it age badly?
It's a classic FPS up there with the rest of the 90s shooters.
Absolutely worthy. Imo, it's the best classic FPS there is, and has aged significantly better than Half-Life and even Quake thanks to less 'confusing' level design (I never found Quake even remotely confusing, but I imagine Unreal would be much less for those not used to the old school level design even despite much bigger environments in comparison to Quake). It also holds up really well thanks to its engrossing atmosphere few games have ever matched (and I've played a lot).
Can one turn individual mod features on/off? Better AI sounds cool but invisible monsters are not.

It's semi-supported via mutator. You get UE's better guns mainly. Currently UE is strictly designed for the base game's singleplayer, and that's always where it will be of significance, but may expand later.
Looks very cool! I bought Unreal ages ago on CD and never got around to playing it. This upgrade makes me want to in stall it.
That's great to see, congrats. Unreal blew my teenage mind in 1998. But I already replayed it in 2018 to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
