In the coming days I will release a condensed version of that we can make. It may be terrible in the storyline, miss some parts. But it will be working levels, as well as their sources. I do it for that would not disappoint those who are really waiting for this. But who really cares? I've been doing this game for myself, but when I played in the new Dear Esther, it took me a desire to work on the Source Engine. This is my last mod and I'm going an indie development. Thank you all, that's all.

Do not release it if its not complete.
Why? That's a terrible idea. Why not release the source files and let someone else try to take it up? The only downside is the chance of someone stealing your content and claiming it as their own.
Damn... It's painful to see a mod die. Good luck with the indie world, it might get better for you then.

This is sad. I love your mods, a lot, but hey, we all make choices. I'll miss ya, as will lots of other people. Good luck with whatever else you plan to do after this, and I can't wait until the release in the next few days. Shame it couldn't be completed, but I guess that's the way things go. I hope it will go well with your indie development and thsnaks for releasing this even though you wont make it entierly complete.

You're an amazing developer, and a writer, I feel this will only hurt you becoming an Indie developer.
As for Dear Esther, yes, the bit is there, but reviews so far haven't shown alot of people impressed with the 10$ price tag and hour of gameplay. Infact, it is shorter than the mod version, though prettier obviously.
Finish this! Complete it!

I don't understand Dear Esther part. I know it's not a good game but what did it make you think about Source I don't know.
I really enjoyed your mods.You are a great moder and storyteller. I wish you would still finish this mod and go indie afterwards. However I wish you the very best. Thanks for some great mods! :)
Don't give up just because of Dear Esther's indie draw. Most people are getting incensed by the price and length of gameplay. Keep this up and you'll do a lot better.
