The Haunted is a fast paced third-person horror-action game which can be played in singleplayer against AI monsters or in multiplayer, where one player is the haunted and the other players control and spawn the enemies.

The chractermodels are beautiful (not beautivul in kind of pretty but detailed)! I also like the graphics of the map, good high res textures :)

I hate sounding dry and cliche in comments, but awesome work, really. The game play in this mod is strangely addictive for being so straight forward, I can only imagine how awesome it would be in a darker atmosphere (Literally darker, makin' use of that flashlight.). Also, amazing how fast you guys work. I remember reading a post about this on the Epic forums just maybe a week ago, and already bam, a playable version out. Keep up the great work!
This is the most impressive UT3 mod I've seen so far. It reminds me a bit of the mercenaries mode in RE4, with some Zombie Master style multiplayer.

I understand if you would not release any of your media to the ps3, because it could not fully portray your story or art direction due to its limitations.
i am requesting you make your maps available and characters as models.
Possibly even weapons with animations? i know animations work on the ps3 :) infact i think its just sounds that dont (and there is currently a workaround for that).
It would be a shame to not be able to play with any of your content as it looks so stunning :) and the playstyle of dashing and running, im telling you many aspects here already work on the ps3 ;) but i fully support this amazing mod whatever you decide to do.

ok this game is ****** awsome just got done playing it single player cus i have not seen a server running this the only thing i dont like is when the AI decides to drop a furion ball right next to you when ur swarmed other then that i love it
This mod is epic, I'm having trouble seeing internet games if there are any but easily one of the most well made mods I've ever seen. 10/10

His run looks a little weird but not too shabby. This mod is awesome, just seriously, awesome. Spent a good 5 hours in a passworded server with 3 friends :D. I don't think theres anything more satisfying then 3 people using Iron Jacks' spamming "OMNOMNOMNOMNOM" on teamspeak molesting the Haunted. There is alot of servers run online, but they show up under deathmatch gamemode. Can't wait for next release!!!!
i dont know if you have realized this but you sir have made THE greatest mod for unreal tournament 3 no seriously this is THE best one out their i didnt even get to try out the multiplayer i was having so much fun but their are 2 constructive critisms i have for you
1. couldnt get that much ammo which sucked not you suck i just suck
2. the bot players get like 5 weapons at start which is annoying

Gears of War and The Haunted both run off the Unreal 3 engine. So the reverse is true. Gears of War looks like its an Unreal 3 mod. :)
The haunted does not use any gow features(like the camera system). It's all custom made.
This looks like what if a great grroup of people would make a RE4 mod

Holy ****! That game makes my juices flowing more than any commercial game out there, I'm still buzzed about my 68 killing spree with the knife.

AWesomely freaky :) The only thing that gameplay trailer is missing was music, also the SFX was a bit too loud.
Can't wait for more content for this mod, maps, traps and perhaps new game modes.

Yes you need UT3 v1.3 patch. I really think this was inspired by RE:4, but it is by far the most kickass mod I've played in man a year.

well the animation kinda sucks. but the game looks sweet. why is the camera so far to the right? if you get hit from the left you can barely see it!!
Could be more specific about what animations you didn't like?
We know the running animation is stiff and everybody hates it.
the only thing he could possibly be mentioning is either the "little" statue feel when walking or the jump animation, because anithing else just rocks...
