Hi everybody!
The time has come for the first release of Chapter One of Steam, Tracks, Trouble & Riddles.
More than four years passed by until this moment. In the past months we had a beta test. The result was promising, but some glitches and oddities especially in the first riddle (the crane) causes some headache.
When all this was fixed I presented it proudly to a good friend:
an even a bigger bug while a map transfer came up. Bad thing: it wasn't reproducebable which is a nightmare for development. But some guessing, analysing and some more testing fixed it.
The mod will be placed in the download section after authorisation: Moddb.com
There is no self installation yet. But a a release guide waits for you there as well. Just read it if you like to know more about installation. It contains some general information as well. Later on there will be a resolution guide for people, who do not
like to solve the riddles and just want to step through the scenery.
Be aware that reading this will spoil the fun of solving the riddles.
But sticking in the middle of the mod isn't fun as well, so I decided to make this.
Will be posted soon.
If you like to comment this mod you can do it here or in the forum

Thank you so much for your patience, your nice comments and your contribution
to this project. The next step in the development will be the VR-Version for Oculus Rift.
So for what do you wait? Download! Play! Solve riddles! Have fun!
Sahweet!
Nice! Gettin to it right now!
amazing!
This is very slow paced, very weird mod.
i'm following this mod now fore a verry long time, i realy enjoied the first part, now i will be waiting for the next one ;)
I was just looking on the moddb page, and I found this. I am going to play now, but why don't you guys put on greenlight? :P
It would get buried under all the Greenlight crap anyway so what is the point :(

Great mod, crisp visuals, decent physics, good progression, Ross Scott. Yes, Ross Scott is a feature.
That aside for a second, the story is fun, sometimes haunting, sometimes taunting, never too challenging. Nothing beats looking at a puzzle and having trouble figuring it out and then going over to the robot for help only to see his happy, dumb, or clever smile staring back at you blankly.
Is the robot dumb? Is he just looking for someone to the the grunt work? Is he just sadistic? We may never know.
As I mentioned before, it has a modified version of Ross Scott's voice (Freeman's Mind). That alone adds a humor aspect to the game.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. Thanks for making it!

- I wait for the VR-Version! :-) I hope it'll be out soon.
I like it so far, but hate to admit I'm stuck. I got and inserted the 3 power cells, but only a big key fell out a door, and i was able to listen to the news report of the cuban missile crisis, but nothing else has happened, and i can't find any other open access points in the blocked station.
Are you sure you inserted all three batteries?
