Hi all we will be releasing Warsword Conquest full version on or around the easter weekend so about the 20th of april, this date depends on if we get the mod finished on time and the mod is fully tested but all looks good for that date so far.
The main features of the mod at the moment are as follows.
13 factions to join or fight these are :-
Empire, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings, Badlands Goblins, Pirates, Orc, Dwarfs, Bretonnia, Chaos,
Dark Elves, High Elves, Araby and Skaven.
Every faction has tons of new armours, items, mounts which you can buy from merchants.
Each faction has its own troop types and lords which are close to their warhammer armies.
Big monsters to hire or fight including Trolls, Ratogres, Ogres, kroxigors and Ushabti.
The ability to become a player character of every faction race in the game.
All new character creation system, bring a warhammer background to your character.
Item Race Restrictions, Player can only wear items which relate to their race.
The player has the chance to obtain magical weapons and armour for themselves.
New map of the old world.
Start on map straight away no starting fight or mission.
Visit, destroy or take over a total of 33 Towns, 58 castles, 138 villages.
All new bandits including Beastmen, Night Goblins and Undead.
Large bandit armies of renegade mercenaries and night goblins on the map.
More than twice the number of bandit parties.
Factionalized merchants now sell race related items.
Factionalized mercenaries, each faction will have a pool of different mercenaries to hire.
All new mercenaries including Ogre Leadbelcher, Alcatani Fellowship, Braganzas Besieger, Tichi Huichi Raiders, Mengils Manflayer, Night Goblins, Witch Elves and many more.
28 new companions to hire.
Sell prisoners to tavernkeeper.
Revamped tournaments with special tournament characters and teams.
Faction patrols around their lands.
Each town and village has correct walkers for faction.
Factionalized Farmers and village defenders, now correct for faction
Villages now produce recruits of owner faction and changes recruit type when taken over.
All new scenes to bring the warhammer world alive.
Ablity to change player kingdom troop race when you own a kingdom.
Join any battle and choose what side to fight on.
Freelancer mod, join a lords army.
Death cam and battle continues.
Sea Battles and Sea Bandits.
Pre-Battle Orders & Deployment.
Troop Formations.
And much more.

Thanks all for your comments, we are still in need of help for this final push to get the mod released so if you can help with modelling, texturing and coding let me know what you can do for the mod, only serious and dedicated modder need apply.

I've been quietly following this for a while, but I was wondering something. There was talk of adding Sylvania in the past, has that been thrown out?
Sylvania was in original warsword but will not be in this version of the mod.
Is there a chance that it will be added in future releases?
That's a shame. I wanted more undead instead of just Tomb Kings.
But thank you, by the way, for making me realize regular Warsword is a thing. Have to go try that now.

how do you get this new update when it comes out?
I've got the preview mod and it's SIIIICKKK. Stoked it works on Warband 1.158. A few questions...
In the full version, are you able to skip to the end of a battle after getting knocked out?
Also, does horse archery make firearms more effective from horseback?
Finally, if you could make beastmen an independent faction in a future version you'd be my heroes forever. Perhaps instead of actually having villages beastmen players could just recruit small bands of beastmen they see around the map for a truly nomadic feel. Or they could have herdstones... Idk haha it's your mod. An ogre kingdoms faction would be incredible as well but 13 factions is beyond sufficient.

Guest you are my hero... Ogre Kingdom, Beastmen, and Orc's are my three most favorite empires. So beastly and badass, I would throw money at you guys if you made the Beast man a lesser faction in a future update, as well as the ogre kingdom.

Today is April 22 so it should be in 2 or 3 days. So yeah, we should wait a little longer for some magic.
Maybe in the future you will add the hunting mod and disarming&decapitation mod!But hey thats just a sugestion and also thx for this mod! :D

Me and my co modder Nameless warrior are working day and night to get the mod to you but we are still finding some game changing bugs or code that does not work well or things we forgot to add before the release.

Take the love, care, and time to make this as good as you can. The salivation will continue to stream just as intensely. This is the best damn thing that warhammer has seen for a while! (in terms of video games)

Hey, great mod. I've noticed it suffers with the same problem many mods do, the fact that prison doors are no longer present in towns, replaced with a door to the arena or some such. This never usually bothers me, but then other mods have never inspired me to spend any more than an hour on a character. Subsequently, the mod's depth has led to me trying to break out a Lord from prison, which I cannot do as there is no prison door in Goslor.
