On April 15, 2006, the Plan of Attack dev team officially released the source code and art assets for their mod, free for use by the public.
With this fantastic news also came a bit of bad news, as it was apparent the the devs would no longer be working on the game.
In effort to keep the mod alive, a group of dedicated Plan of Attack fans have recently launched a community mod project, codenamed "Plan of Attack 1.0".
At the moment we are finalizing our plans for this project, but the basic idea involves using the available source files provided by the Plan of Attack Source Code packages to fix existing issues with PoA's code and give the mod a complete visual overhaul; all while preserving its unique and enjoyable gameplay.
