The Half-Life 2 mod Dystopia comes to mind when I think of cyberpunk mods. Let's play it! Get it off their official website (http://www.dystopia-game.com/) or Steam. We play at 1PM, Pacific Standard Time on Saturday, June the 4th.
What is Dystopia? It'a a class and team based cyberpunk first person shooter featuring a war between the Punk Mercenaries and Corporate Security Forces. Gameplay features cyberspace combat and player augmentations.

For a long time didn't play. Likely because of roughness of some players, and absence of some old quiet players.
Never played it, I'm not sure I'll be able to hop onto a server today either.
Maybe some other time.
This screenshot...that colors...somehow look beautiful :D
Anyway, it's been a long time since I played it the last time, so maybe I'll come back.
Seriously if they wanted people to play the game again, they would radically overhaul it to draw in the old players who quit because of the same ******** over and over.
Nowadays its a few hundred peeps who are so closely connected that the game is for them. They dont want it to change, because that would mean they would have to use their brains again, and they dont want to lose their precious rank.
Yeahhh, i remember when the game first came out. 14000 players in a day, i remember when ranks first were implemented, i Held #1 for a little while.
But anytime i play anymore, all i hear is ( you suck, get out noob, if you dont know how to play then leave ) mean while i know more about teh game then they realize, and no one telling me how to cap a objective on a map ive never played before = unlimitless rage. They treat noobs like **** while they horde points to hold onto a rank that actually in no way shows their actual skill.
Dystopia will die, and why not, why the game fundamentally stays the same, better games are released all the time. Im sure the idiots who are top 300 proably own about 20 steam games. I buy the good games that come out, my steam account has registered to it about 150 games.
So meh, ill keep playing the newest while those idiots live in their own little (its all about me solar system)

I play it not frequently, but here and there and hell, it makes fun, and I barely see any flamers there
